The quality of the wire is pretty close to the original beats aux cord.

I've been using my Beats earbuds while working from home so that I can block out household noise all day but my ears have started to hurt from wearing earbuds 8+ hours a day. My mom offered me her Beats Solo but the cord was broken. I was hesitant to order a replacement cord since it's not Beats brand and I wasn't sure if it would actually work. I got overnight shipping and tried it out as soon as it was delivered. It works perfectly! Plugs in well to the headphones, very secure and no wobbling or risk of it falling out. Sound quality is great with no cutting out, even while I'm moving/the cord is moving. I don't have a comparison of sound quality with the original cord but it's just as good as my earbuds if not better. The sound control and pause/play works and there's no delay from when I press the buttons. The only downside is that the sound control is very high up on the cord so it feels like an awkward spot to reach for, but that might just be because I'm used to my earbuds. Overall, would highly recommend if you're needing a replacement cord!

I've had my beats for a long time and my cord was in terrible condition. I bought this cord as a replacement because it matches the color of my beats. I see some people in the reviews with issues with the buttons but honestly, mine work just fine. My speaker works perfectly on them, the buttons pause and play as they should, cuts my volume up and down like it's supposed to. I haven't had any issues. I don't use my over the ear headphones everyday because I have in ear airpods, but they work perfectly fine while I'm in class and such.

It works well with Beats Studio 3 for listening to audio. As far as talking into it, the mic has to be aligned properly with the mouth. Once I accidentally had the mic flipped down, and people on the other side of the call complained that they couldn't hear me
