Excellent design concept.
I’m a fan of Slice and already use another one of their tools that’s been excellent. This scraper had the same clean, functional design I expected — compact, sharp (but safe), and well-suited for detailed tasks around the home.Unfortunately, the one I received arrived damaged and had to be returned. I haven’t reordered it yet, but the overall concept and feel still seem promising. If the build quality holds up, it’s a smart addition to any minimalist toolkit.— Curated by Jaded John | #OrderlyCleanDesign

Absolutely Locks Open.
Maybe I don’t understand what other reviewers mean by the blade not locking open or maybe I got a newer variant but I have no problems leaving the blade in an extended position when using it (as you can see in the photo) or retracted position when I store it.Almost did not purchase this because of those reviews.I have been using mine daily to scrape my 3d printer’s build plates for a few months now. Zero issues. Highly recommended.

Blade will not lock open!
I would give this 5 stars, but the blade does not lock open, you have to hold the blade open to use it. It is great to use when cleaning up old paint or residue from floors and smooth surfaces you don't want to scratch.

super useful scraper
I've got all kinds of scrapers, using razer blades, stanley blades, carbide blades.... but this scraper is my new favorite for light removal of paint and stickers. The edge of the blade is slightly rounded, so prevents a nasty scratch from the blade tip in case the knife is slightly off-skew whilst scraping. The carbide stands up to some heavy scraping which would normally have dulled steel blades. I also like the way carbide blades are not quite as super sharp as say razer blades, so the scraper doesn't over-dig into the paint when it hits some undulation in the surface

Doesn't lock
I am amazed at all the positive reviews here. Some of them even mention that it doesn't lock and still give 4 and 5 stars????? If it wasn't supposed to lock in place then, I wouldn't have purchased it.In the description and on the package is says "Blade Locks Easily into Position"Based on what I can tell, and based on the little lock icon on a part of the button to extend the blade, what they actually mean is that this part of the button, stops the blade from coming out all the way for replacement. If you want to replace the blade you push the "lock" icon part down so that it slips under the rest of the case and you can replace the blade.SO.....When you use it you have to hold the button the whole time to keep it in the using position and I guess, like I said the "lock" means it keeps it from fully extending.LET ME REPEAT THIS. The blade does not lock into place for use!!!!! If you are OK with that, then go ahead and purchase. At the very least they should change the package and the description.

A bit annoying
I didn’t realize the auto retract feature was a thing on this model. So that is a bit annoying as it auto retracts the blade and you have to keep it pushed down to use the blade.

Great product
Ive been using this product for about 2 months and have no qualms at all. I use it to scrape my pizza stone after a cheesy pizza bake. Generally there is cheese and cornmeal stuck to the stone. This scraper makes short work of cleaning and has not shown ANY signs of wear after pretty heavy use.Id reccomend this scraper all day.
