I have a Bernina 440Q will it work?

It will work with any machine if you have enough throat space. My machine is 7 inches from needle to neck. I wouldn't go any smaller than that.

what is minium requirement of area in inches for throat for it to work with?

How big of a table and work space do i need for this?

The length of the frame, as it comes is 48" but it sits on two cylinder to move. I used a dining table.
