What country are these made in?

We use pine from the Carpathian mountains. Our workshop is located in Khyriv, Ukraine. Each shelf is Handmade and has a wax coating, we do not use varnish.

What tools do you need to install it?

Would they hold up the weight of Laundry Detergent?

If you used some upgraded mounting hardware it should. I wouldn’t trust the provided toggles to hold much of anything though.
