The media could not be loaded.  I absolutely love this picture. My husband and I put it over the bed and because it is a heavy picture we worried about it being there without being mounted quite sturdy. Because of where the hanging brackets were on the back of picture, which btw are so great, we couldn't meet up directly with any stud on the wall no matter where it was hanging. So my husband took a 3/4 inch thick piece of wood about 3 feet long and we screwed that piece of wood into the wall on 3 different stud, then put screws in the piece of wood to hang the picture. Now because it was 3/4 inch thick the picture leaned a bit and I felt even with bumpers on the back, which were a great addition on the picture, it still leaned and we didn't want any tension on picture it being glass, so we took some of the styrofoam which picture was packaged with and cut same size block pieces as bumpers and put behind the bumpers to make picture hang straight. It came out perfect and looks wonderful. I'm very please with it and because we have pretty much an open house no matter where you stand in it you can see from study to kitchen and living room and if master bedroom door is open, you can't miss seeing the picture. It makes me smile every time I look at it. Very happy I got it! Sorry I had to do video because for some odd reason it wouldn't load a still picture.

I had a horse that looked very similar to this, that passed away in 2019, so this represents that to me. However no matter what it is a striking picture. Looks best on a dark wall though. I have a light gray wall and it's pretty faded on it. I'm working around it by spending more money actually to kind of give it a border with other items. I've had 2 people suggest painting a dark frame like border around it's exterior. I've seen that in others homes, for other items and it worked out well. However with sticking with a horse theme and not trying to take the modern edge of this, I'm taking two small barn door wall decor and hanging them on each side. My horse will be in the barn. Ha I'm accenting them in a dark gray trim so they will make my picture with all the white pop against them. I'm also hanging a black wrought iron looking accent across the top to give the top border an offset in color too. That accent brings out his black eye and the darkness on his nose area. Moderate spending needed, since most of those items came from Hobby Lobby with their 50% off wall decor sale going on. Bought the 3 horse running on black glass as well, it is probably a lot more suitable to light walls but it's found another place in the home already.

This is so incredible. I love this picture. It looks amazing on my bedroom wall and makes me smile when I wake up looking at these gorgeous horses. It came very well packaged and protected. It is quite heavy so you will need two people to hang it. The mounting brackets are really strong and if you can find two studs to line up you are golden. In my case I got one stud and then used a good size E-Z anchor for the other side to make sure it was good and secure. It’s beautiful. Thank you!

Other reviews have stated the definition is not as detailed as shown online. I have to agree - the neck and hindquarters are nearly completely white. The upside is the eye is the focal point and the lack of definition does not take that much away from the picture. The feeling you get when you look in her eye on the site will be the same feeling you get when you have her home. I would have preferred it to be exactly as pictured but it is beautiful nonetheless. I had seen this about 2 years sho at HomeGoods. I walked away from it and regretted it. When I returned, someone had bought it. 2 years later I find it on Amazon and I love it!! Great quality. I have it on the landing of my stairs. It's the first thing my guests notice as they walk in. I'm very happy with this purchase.
