THE TOMATO SECRET STORY Jim Zamzow, founder of Dr. JimZ, entered a contest to grow the largest tomato plant in the northern hemisphere. This turned into a fun experiment to see how big he could grow a plant without using traditional fertilizer products. The result was a massive 17 ft tomato plant producing over 200 pounds of tasty fruit! The 17 ft tomato plant was so impressive that the local newspaper wrote a story on the towering behemoth. Hundreds of Idaho residents made it a priority to track Jim down in order to learn how to replicate the huge tomato plant in their own back yard. Jim told the gardeners how to grow the giant tomato along with a detailed explanation of the 12 natural ingredients he applied to the soil throughout the growing process (Many of the ingredients found in Tomato Secret are not commonly recognized as vegetable fertilizer, such as alfalfa meal, molasses and Epsom salts). Most gardeners refused to mix it themselves; rather, they asked Jim to manufacture the unique tomato fertilizer so all they had to do was open a bag and pitch it in their garden. Jim responded by creating Tomato Secret...... Perfectly blended to grow healthy, delicious, nutrient rich tomatoes. “With Tomato Secret most gardeners have more vegetables than they can eat. They grow their own vegetables because they want them to taste better and be fresher than their store-bought counterparts. The increase in tomato yield is a side benefit of our effort to make tastier and more healthful fruits and vegetables.” -Jos Zamzow Instantly Transform From Hobby Gardener To Master Gardener and be the envy of the neighborhood! Dr. Jimz vs. Texas Tomato Food...
Testing this vs. Texas Tomato Food, so leaving a neutral review until the end of season.I've planted 36 tomato plants, all indeterminate varieties in the same exact soil and lighting conditions in outdoor raised beds. One half are using Texas Tomato Food, the other half using Dr. Jimz Tomato Secret as directed for each. Will provide a full review at the end of the season with my results and photos. This should be fun!

It's pretty good.
This is good fertilizer. Not the best, but very good.I did a "shootout" comparing Dr. Jimz with Trifecta Plus. Same tomato variety, same raised beds. Dr. Jimz did produce slightly better looking, slightly bigger plants, but the plants fertilized with Trifecta Plus have been producing twice the fruit. The only downside to Trifecta Plus is it isn't available via Amazon or stores. You have to order through the MIGardner website.

We grew 10-foot tomato plants
I heard about this product on someone's YouTube video. We grew 23 tomato plants last year - a variety of heritage tomatoes. Every one of the plants grew to 10-feet tall. Lots and lots of fabulous tomatoes. It is the ONLY fertilizer I use.

Bummed out
I'm probably just a lousy gardener, but I didn't get a single large tomato this year. In other years I have had so many tomatoes that I shared them with neighbors, but this year, using this product for the first time, I didn't get squat. Maybe my soil is crap (or maybe I don't have enough crap in my soil?), but only the little marble-sized tomatoes grew well with this stuff. Sudden thought: maybe I shouldn't have tried to grow them in containers rather than in the 4'x4'x4' raised gardens of past years. Actually, I've had the best luck just putting the seeds into the ground and letting Mother Nature have at it. Great results those two years. Lousy luck ever since.

Best tomatoes yet!
Every year I struggle with blossom end rot no matter what I do. I decided to try this and it's amazing what a difference it's made. Way more tomatoes this year, and each one is blemish-free. It seems like hyperbole, but my tomatoes this year are seriously perfect, and the only difference was using this.
