This stuff is awesome!
I love this stuff! It works so well. Totally worth the money! I have a lot of digestive issues and resistant starch the only supplement that has ever helped them in 20 years of trying things. This might be a little too much information for some people, but I had diarrhea for 20 years as well. I saw specialists had a colonoscopy and many other tests done. In the end they said all we can tell you is sometimes your body changes and eat more fiber. The fiber only made things worse. It took me a while with resistant starch, going slowly, to get up to a higher dose, but after a few months (can’t remember exactly how many now) my diarrhea went away!! I didn’t even think that could happen. I know it’s the starch because if I go off it, the diarrhea comes back. And when I work my way back up to a higher dose again, it goes away.I also have noticed other effects. My bloated stomach goes away! Twenty years of people asking you if your pregnant when you aren’t - finally over! Again it comes back if I go off the starch and goes away when I work my way back up to a higher dose. I have many other health issues that make losing weight extremely difficult even when I go on the most strict diets for a long time - nothing happens except I get hangry. I’ve done so many different ones for so long hoping they’ll help. I notice when I take this diligently, that I actually lose a little weight without even trying!!! I’m not eating differently. I’m just taking the higher dose of starch. I also notice when I’m taking the higher dose that I don’t gain as much weight if I eat what I would think of as “dangerous to my waistline” food - ice cream, chips, burger and fries, milkshakes, etc. I think that’s pretty amazing too.I take it twice a day so that I never go over 24 hours without taking it. If you go over 24 hours without it, it’s like your body resets and all the good effects go away for about a week. At least that’s what I notice. When I first started taking it, it took a week before I started to notice any changes. Like I said, I worked my way up to a higher dose low and slow so my weak digestive system could handle it. I didn’t notice all these amazing effects right away. It took weeks to months. For me the first thing I noticed was I wasn’t as hungry all the time (because nothing stayed in my body for more than 4-6 hours). I could go for longer without a burning hunger in my stomach and guts. Then the bloating went away maybe in two weeks-ish? Then I noticed I wasn’t gaining as much weight when I ate ice cream, etc. maybe after a few weeks/month. Then after maybe 2-4 months (it could have been a little longer) I noticed I was losing a little weight without trying and finally my diarrhea went away. Everyone is different so it might take longer or more, or maybe it would be faster and you’d need less? I don’t know. I can only tell you what happened to me.I do notice now after a year of taking resistant starch that if I forget and don’t take it and then start again at the same high dose that all the good effects come back after that first adjustment week. As far as the taste goes, it’s starch so it doesn’t taste that great if you take it in just juice. But it tastes good in smoothies or with milk. I’m sure it would taste good in milk alternatives as well.I hope this helps somebody. I really appreciated other peoples’ reviews when I was wondering wether to spend the money on this. It is definitely worth it!! Much better than potato starch!

Excellent quality, wonderful results & great customer support
I've been using Jonny's Organic Pulverized Green Bananas for a month now, and am so pleased with the results that I'm re-ordering several bags. Before purchasing, I nerded out and did an exhaustive review of all similar products. My goal is to increase my intake of prebiotic resistant starch to benefit gut bacteria. I did the calculations on competing brands and while they might have a cheaper price point, they also provide significantly LESS prebiotic fiber per 8 g serving. If your goal is quality prebiotic fiber, then Jonny's is the most cost effective and quality supplier out there.NOTE: I do not use this product for cooking or baking purposes. You can certainly do so, but high temps will change the composition of any green banana flour and reduce the prebiotic benefits. I use this premium product exclusively for gut health purposes so am careful to only add it to foods once the temp drops below 140°. I'll add this to soups and sauces, I just wait for them to cool down. Smoothies, dressings and dips are of no concern, so I'll mix Jonnys green banana powder in when I'm preparing the recipe. This green banana flour is super fine - more fine than a regular white flour. It's like powder, so it blends in very easily. It does have a slight thickening effect so you might need to use more liquid in your preparations. There's not much of a flavor to it. If I had to describe it, I'd say it was slightly nutty. This is not a product that I would mix into a glass of plain water and drink. You could, it doesn't have any kind of strong flavor, it's just not something that I personally would do.I have not had any gastrointestinal issues from adding this fiber to my diet. But I have noticed a decreasing amount of indigestion over the last month along with increased regularity and I'm down just about 4 lbs overall.I'm pretty sure this product makes me fill more full when I use it because when adding it to my typical morning smoothie, I find I'm simply not finishing the drink. I'm putting it in the fridge and then having the rest later when I'm feeling a bit hungry or for breakfast the following day. So, that calorie decrease along with better gut flora might be behind my weight loss. Nothing else has really changed, diet-wise.I started out with one 8 g serving (1 Tbsp) a day for about 5 days, and am now taking in ~ 3 servings a day.I'm happy to answer questions if you'd like to know more about my experience using Jonnys Good Nature Organic Pulverized Green Banana flour/powder. Cheers, Mary

What a find! Far Superior to the Competition!
What a find! By far the best Green Banana powder I have tried. Very low calorie and works great in my smoothies and has become an important part of my health regime. Different, and better, than any of the alternatives by quite a margin. It is rare that product stands out this much in its category. It has a permanent place in my ingredient list.

Excellent product but is expensive compared to alternatives
Excellent source of RS. Probably the best natural source currently available. However, it is expensive compared to other options like potato starch or Fibersol-2 as examples. Due to price I will have to also use other sources to hit my daily RS target.Taste is like very very bland banana and will mix very well with protein shakes (Redcon1 MRE Lite banana nutbread ftw). Sometimes I'll just mix it directly in ~6oz water and just chug that down easy pleasy no problems all good. Probably not good to mix with coffee/tea.

This green banana powder is off the charts! It does wonders for my digestive system. I mix a scoop with peanut butter and coconut oil. The taste is mild. Highly recommended!
