Super soft, super lightweight, super deal
My husband and I have always used a comforter with a duvet cover over it for the past 20 years. I certainly have gone through my share of them. I've had thick ones, thin ones, premium Egyptian cotton and thick cotton flannel. I live in South Florida and it's important to us to have something lightweight. We have a very light weight alternative down comforter her that we needed something light to cover it. I knew that this wasn't a 1500 thread count duvet cover, and I knew that it was microfiber going into it, but that didn't bother me. We've slept with this for a few months now and I have to say that this is the softest, most lightweight and luxurious feeling duvet cover I have ever had. I'm close to 50 years old and I have hot flashes, but this wasn't too hot for me. Did I mention I live in Florida?? Paired with a thin duvet filler, and you've got yourself a perfect match. My husband can't stop commenting on how soft and comfy he is at night and that means a lot. these don't wrinkle, they wash really well and mine didn't come with any stains like some of the reviews mentioned. These were brand-new in the plastic with cardboard in the middle, and were never opened or used until I opened them. You can't beat the price and I will be buying several other colors when I get the chance, believe me. I was not paid for any reviews and I did not get this for free. I paid for it and I'm glad I did and I will be paying for more of them*** Update May/2017= still LOVING this! Please don't listen to the reviews who say they received stained. Ours came super tightly packed and wrapped in cardboard and plastic and not sure how it would have come stained unless they did it themselves. Anyway, ours has been washed several times now and it just keeps getting softer. Doesn't need ironing and doesn't wrinkle. I am in the process of deciding what other colors I want. It's worth it!!

It's just polyester fabric.
POLYESTER, POLYESTER, POLYESTER! No matter how fancy is the description is, these are just 100% polyester. I don't think it's comparable to cotton, and I don't think it's very comfortable or fine made. The description makes a huge misunderstanding of what it made of. I feel like I've been fooled.

Horrible. First of all it is described in a tricky way saying its 1500 count Egyptian leads you to think its cotton when in fact its polyester. It does not wash well and it holds onto pet hair even after washing. Had it for a month and gave it to a resale shop. And its so hot to sleep under because its not cotton. Very disappointed. I should demand my money back. Awful product.

Love it!
First, let me say that I have a queen size bed, but it has a thick mattress that sits up high. So to cover my entire mattress and drape over the box spring the way I wanted it to, I bought this comforter cover in the King size instead of Queen. Also, I should add that I wanted a "Luxury Hotel" look for my bedroom. So all of my bedding is white. I had already bought the HC Collection 1800 sheets WHICH I LOVE! And so to complete the look, I got a comforter and this cover from Amazon. Now I love white comforters, but they are hard to clean. I also do not like the appearance of the square stitching on a comforter to show. So this cover was perfect to cover the comforter, also, now I just have to wash the cover instead of the comforter. This cover is WHITE. Not cream, not bone, not off white. WHITE. lol. The cover is so smooth that it feels just as good as my HC Collection sheets. If you have not bought HC Collection before, let me just say I don't know how, but when you wash them, it's like they are stain resistant. I spilled something on the cover, didn't immediately blot it up. Did my normal wash, and it came out as if nothing had ever spilled on it. Anyway, I can go on. Bottom line is, if you're undecided, take a chance. The cover is nice, great quality, feels like silk on your skin but looks like cotton, and you cant beat the price. I've attached a pic for you to see for yourself.

Not Egyptian Cotton
This duvet cover set is beautiful, soft, luxurious … and very warm which was not what I was expecting. I was looking for a summery duvet for my all season comforter. Even though the description says “…Egyptian Quality Duvet …” my brain read “…Egyptian Cotton Duvet…” (my bad and kudos to their marketing dept). If you read the description details carefully (which apparently I didn’t) it says “microfiber” which generally holds body heat. Still, I kept it because it does feel luxuriously soft, is beautiful, and I will probably appreciate the warmth in the winter. Plus it was an excellent price for a king size duvet and 2 king shams. I wish they had put more buttons on the opening or sewed up the opening a bit because if you put a contrasting comforter in the cover, you’ll notice the comforter peeping out of the openings. The buttons are about 12 inches apart and the opening is seam to seam. That wasn’t a problem for me because I put a white comforter in a white duvet. Word of caution - When you first open the package you are greeted by a profound odor which disappears completely after washing.

A must if your bed is king size!
It took me years before I finally learned what a Duvet cover was and what its purpose was for. This is the best thing ever for a king size bed because you put your big fluffy comforter inside it and when you need to wash it you just was the Duvet cover and the comforter inside it stays clean for years! The Duvet cover is light weight like a sheet. Its so easy to wash. Better than trying to wash a king size comforter. This one was a very affordable price for me and its well made and easy to slip the comforter inside. It has buttons on the end so I just button up the comforter inside it. It has little loops in each corner inside it to tie the comforter to keep it from sliding around but I did not use them and my comforter stays in place any way so far with no problems. I plan on buying more of these for the rest of the beds in our home so I can buy less expensive comforters to stuff inside these to make all the beds look really fluffy then put a printed colorful comforter on the top of them. Also this duvet cover was plenty big enough to fit my king size comforter inside it.

Not Cotton!
Packaging says Queen size, but I ordered King - however I think this might be an international size issue, as it does seem to fit my UK King size duvet OK.The other issue to beware of, is that the product is described as 'Egyptian Quality' and 'Cotton'- but the label sewn into all 3 items says 100% Polyester - which makes them quite pricey for what they are in my opinion. I am not returning them purely due to laziness, although I doubt I will use them much, as I sleep hot anyway and Polyester just makes it worse.

Just go to HOMESENSE (CND) OR HOMEGOOD(US)
The product is not what is advertised. The sheets are rough so I washed the set a few times with fabric softener and vinegar to soften the sheets which helped a bit then had to wash again to get the vinegar smell out.Fabric really holds the wrinkles too!DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE PRICE especially since it’s falsely advertised. I have gotten better quality sheets at HOMESENSE for a better price.

Soft, Good Looking
My only complaint is that it didn't come with corner ties to hold the duvet in place. I saw one review indicating they liked the ties, so expected them, but mine came with no ties. This wasn't a difficult fix, some spare ribbon and a few minutes on the sewing machine, and I have ties, but wasn't expecting to have to add them myself.(So has the product changed or was the other reviewer wrong)

The texture of the fabric is very soft and comfortable and I really like the corner ties inside. The fabric is somewhat slippery so the duvet tends to slip down at the end of the bed during the night. I find myself often having to pull the duvet up. The pillowcases are nice and big. It will be interesting to see how well the fabric stands up to repeated washing.

It should have stated buttons not zipper.
Disappointed to find out it didn't have a zipper. I was afraid that it would scrunch up to one end. Should have come with those pin things to keep it in place. I shouldn't have to buy them separately.
