After moving into a new house and having an array of mismatched furniture, our last piece to tie the living room together was the cocktail table. I spent countless hours searching for the perfect rectangular coffee table. I was hesitant to order this coffee table because I thought it was too good to be true. I assembled it myself with little effort. The directions were easy to understand and there really wasn't much to it! The table top was my biggest concern - it is extremely sturdy and a white melamine type material. It's sleek and smooth but without being glossy. It's the perfect size and the bottom shelf is great for magazine/record/book storage. 10/10 would recommend!

We ordered four of these tables: two end tables, a coffee table, and a console table. These are outstanding tables for the price. 1) They are super easy to assemble. It's so simple the instructions are not needed. 2) They came amazingly well packed. It took longer to unpack them and stow the packaging than to assemble them. 3) The quality is excellent - not just for the price but even for furniture multiple times the price. The only place I found any flaws on any of our tables was on the underside of the top of the tables where you wouldn't see the blemish except during assembly.I want to point something out about the design and packaging of these pieces that is small but demonstrates the thought that when into these tables. Each table (all three versions) has only four major parts: the top, two side legs and the bottom shelf. Assembly entails attaching twp bolts/washers to hold each leg to the top and then dropping the bottom shelf (everything is upside down during assembly) into position and attaching it to the legs with four more bolts/washers. It's almost impossible to do anything wrong. More to my point, though: in virtually all the furniture I have assembled, the parts come randomly dumped into a bag or separated by part in little plastic compartments. In this case the variety of parts is very limited, so they're all in a bag, but rather than just being dumped there the bolt, washer, and split washer are all pre-assembled in the way they need to attach to the table. It only saves a minute during assembly, but there was no need for the manufacturer to do this except to help the assembler.There is an odor for the first few days after the tables are unpacked, but we didn't find it offensive. The only other (non-)complaint we have is that there is a lot of packaging. That's good for safe delivery, but it does mean there is quite a bit of material to dispose of.

I bought it for one of our treatment rooms in our behavioral health clinic. Fits perfect and looks great next to the chair I purchased for that room. My only worry is it won't match the desk I have on order. The top of this table is more of a eggshell and the wood is darker and more golden than the picture shows.

This piece was packaged very well. This is the easiest piece of furniture to put together (attach the legs and the base and tighten the screws, that’s it!). The wood is solid and extremely sturdy and it is a nice warm brown color. I was a little hesitant to purchase because some reviewers said the top wasn’t actually white, but my piece is white. I looked high and low for a nice MCM coffee table that wouldn’t break the bank, and I am extremely satisfied with this purchase!

Table came in perfect condition with no damage at all. I found it to be easy to assemble; it recommends two people but I had no trouble doing it by myself. Feels very sturdy and solid, I am definitely happy with my purchase.

Update March 2023The top is finally starting to show some scratches after 4 years of very heavy use. I like it so much I ordered a replacement table. I'm sending it back. I don't like the new color of the table top. It is a greenish grayish white, not like the photo which is a beautiful creamy white. I'm very disappointed.Update; March 2021. After two years of heavy use this table is still going strong. It looks perfect still. We take so little care and it just doesn't scratch or stain. Such a winner!****I am so happy with this coffee table! I was set on getting real marble and originally bought this same style table from West Elm for triple the price which didn't work out. I was back at square one. I was hesitant about the Madison Park because of the painted top. But I love it! A lot! Such a nice creamy white color. It doesn't seem to require coasters, no spotting, no chipping. The walnut wood color is really beautiful. Although this is my 3rd table. The first two arrived dented in the corner. Somebody must have dropped the box even though they were well packaged. BUT, the 3rd try is the charm. It is perfect! Amazon was wonderful about returning the other two. Picked them up from my house. I've had this table three months now. It gets heavy use since it is in our family room with two adults and two frequent visiting grandkids
