The clips I received were not clips at all. Major pain to install. Some but not all reviewers report this, so maybe it's worth rolling the dice!Took me about an hour to get it installed, and I'm sure it will break before long as I have to really force the glass in and out of the "clips".

Did not arrive as pictured. It has a visible white base and it advertises steel/nickel color.It does not suit the modern look of my kitchen. More like a 1980’s fixture

The fixture provides a lot of light, and the quick release mount for the globe will be nice for changing bulbs.For installation, the center post mounting with the wide base and heavy insulation makes it extremely difficult to get the edge of the fixture flush with the ceiling. I settled for a small but visible gap after experimenting with it for quite a while.

Installed and nice and bright. The glass dome is held in place with one of the clips being spring-loaded; you pull it out to install/remove the dome. As long as the spring-loaded clip holds up, all's OK.The cross-bar/mounting-bar should be 1/2 or 1 inch longer on each end. I installed over a standard cutout box and the mounting bar was just a little too short to stretch across the cutout hole. I improvised by putting a piece of strapping/galvanized steel across one side of the cutout and put the crossbar over that.

A center mounting nut is not enough to hold the outer edges to the ceiling especially with the weight of the glass. I had to drill three holes near each glass clip and put a drywall screw plug in the ceiling. All is good now, 3 dimmable 75 watt leds and this fixture can brighten any room to a level you will need with a dimmer. If you go to lowes or HD all they really have are fixtures with built in LEDs. They are seldom bright enough and the fixture has to be removed if the LED fails. Talk about planned obsolescence, ridiculous.

Not the best built or highest quality but they work just fine. Using GE basic LED bulbs in them and no issues. Look nice so the quality of the metal base (thin) shouldn't be an issue. The one spring loaded clip work great, but just remember to wiggle it when pulling the clip to put the glass in. No need to gorillat the thing, just wiggle and it'll clear the washer to allow you to pull the clip out enough to put the glass in.

First one arrived completely broken. That meant the refund process and waiting to get the second. Amazon is great, but it still required a trip to return and waiting. Many ceiling fixtures mount with 2 screws. This one uses a threaded center rod. Requires some fiddling to get the length correct. Looks great. Removal of shade is easy.

I’m very happy with these lights, I ended up buying a total of three because I was so happy with them. They have a very low profile and are very neutral.

Bought this to replace the ceiling light in a bedroom. Previous fixture had GU24 base CFL light bulbs. I hate bulbs that don't have a standard screw type base. I also hate CFL bulbs. Worst invention ever. Two GU24 CFL bulbs cost almost as much as this fixture. Adapter sockets same story. This fixture is well made and took all of 1/2 hour to have it installed. Fitted it with LED bulbs. Doubt I will have to look at it ever again. Excellent value. Arrived well packed and quickly.

With today’s LED lights I’ve found open fixtures are a must. All my old 2 light fixtures would get too hot inside and the led lights would overheat and shut down until they cooled off. Like others, I was worried about quality so bought one fixture to try. When that came, and I found the build quality decent enough for my needs, I went ahead and ordered the other four I needed.I was pleasantly surprised. Decent value for the money.

Super fast delivery. Once it got here, I could see the packaging was a little dented and was concerned about the integrity of the glass. Upon opening, it was easy to see that it was in pristine condition and has been packaged with care. The installation was a breeze, black to black, white to white, ground to ground. Installed in five minutes and is now lighting my sons bedroom perfectly. Love this!

Wasn’t that easy to install, but that’s due to the weirdness and old age of the electrical in my house. For a newer house with up to date wiring, should be easy. Looks pretty
