The rare looking model follows on from a unique idea that the Victorinox Swiss Army company incorporated into products back in 2011 which was influenced by the British designer, Christopher Raeburne. The inspired piece is a credit to Victorinox Swiss Army Watches, exemplifying a varied selection of special features which are found in only the I.N.O.X collection. The watch is manufactured using recycled leather, a technique used within the original concept, where ing bags, blankets and parachutes were used to form a successful fashionable clothes line. The used leather derives from belt holsters from within the years of 1911 to 1970 and is worn as a coat of armour to fit over the bezel of the I.N.O.X structure. The stainless steel case back bears a screw down crown and a set of sturdy lugs which bear a novelty dark brown leather strap to complete the army inspired aesthetic. The dial itself houses a clear and simple display which uses a khaki green dial to emphasise a set of highly legible baton style indexes to represent the hour markers and a matching pair of chiselled hour and minute hands. A striking red hued seconds hand creates a stunning contrast against the dark green backdrop of the dial, finished perfectly with a subtle window date set on a white background which rests in between the 4 and 5 o clock hour mark. The 43mm watch is also 200 meter water resistant as well as having passed test number 83 out of 130 which qualifies the timepiece to have withstood the nitric and sulphuric solution.
