Item failed
We bought this water pump in April 2024 and the back of it blew apart in October of 2024. We are in the process of filing a claim with the company.

This is a good water pump. If you know what you are doing the water pump installs pretty easily. It seems to bee a good quality pump. After installing it, we haven't had any issues and we have ran it for over a month daily now.

Heater hose outlet was loose.
Heater hose outlet was loose, and could be pulled in-out by hand. Decided not to run it only just to have to do the job twice, and lose coolant. I'd say dont buy this unless you really potentially want to waste time.

Made by casting, great quality & perfect fit replacement
I have a 2000gmc Sierra 1500 SLE 5.3L Vortec that's a hand me down from my dad, that was a work truck and it's about that time to replace the water pump.This was an excellent replacement because it is an exact match with a solid made pulley to match that's already attached.It seems it was made by casting so I sanded down as much as I could see internally so the flow would be smoother and I did it as best as I could go without damaging the openings.The gaskets that came with were way better than aftermarket and were made from a solid soft metal so when I torqued it down it made a solid seal, no leaks after I installed and had to use new bolts that do not come with this water pump.This is a great replacement because it was half price of what the factory replacement cost with basically the same quality and same process being made with casting.Overall it's a solid buy, great value, good quality and perfect fitment
