Space-saving gadget!
I'm definitely for this, full-size strainers take up so much cupboard space but this little thing is so elegant and compact! I've tried it on a couple of different pots and it worked beautifully. The clips hold it on tightly and they're covered in silicone as well so they both help with grip and don't heat up. Great design choice!I also appreciate that it's silicone, which is a pretty good choice of material for a cooking item that's exposed to high temperatures..Tip: the first time I tried this I tipped it too far and dumped my noodles into the sink because I couldn't tell if I'd drained all the water. If no more water is going through, you can probably assume it's drained even if you can't see the whole contents of the pot/pan.

Works well, but not ideal for larger amounts of pasta
It looks good so far. For some reason I was expecting hard plastic and it’s made out of a softer, silicone-like material, but as long as it works, that doesn’t matter much.It does attach to the pan with clips that have exposed metal parts, and the only downside of that is that I’d worry about rusting and being able to thoroughly clean them. So I intend to be careful about washing and drying it right after use.Otherwise, it doesn’t give off an odor and seems good. I’ll update once I get around to washing and using it.Update: Used it on a small saucepan, and now I see why it's flexible! I had to squish it a little to get it to fit on the pan, but it worked perfectly. Washing the clips isn't my favorite, but having a little crescent of strainer to wash instead of an entire regular strainer is very nice. Definitely recommend.Update, again: I used it on an entire box of pasta in a large pot and a few noodles escaped over the top of the strainer. It would be nice if it were just an inch or two taller. But overall I am still pleased.

Exactly as advertised. Very happy with this product.
This strainer is exactly as advertised. It is just what I thought it would be. I've used it on larger pots and small pans. So far, it has fit all of the different sized dishes, pots and pans that I've used it on. It washes easily as well. We don't have a dishwasher, but a quick soak in warm water and any stuck on food will wipe right off. The clips seem to be high quality, but they aren't too difficult to squeeze. Overall, I think this is a great product. I would recommend it to anyone, and would definitely say it would make a unique, inexpensive gift for any cook on your holiday shopping list!

Amazing Solution To A Problem
Well whatdya know...I had doubts that this would work because the ad photo had it fixed upon a much smaller pot (and yes I am aware that it said it was Universal fit but a girl's been burned before and she's allowed to be suspicious as a result). But nope, took me a second to get it stuck on the pot in the right direction but outside of that putting it on is very intuitive. Clips on the side easily, spread it as wide as you can so that it wraps around the outer circumference and then you tilt the pot and it simply seeps through easily. The weight of the pasta on the plastic didn't make it un-clip or come loose and the amount of liquid that came from it didn't cause a sudden cascade of water that splashed everywhere. It was very controlled and directional. Overall this is really the solution to the problems. I have a colander bowl system that I often use that I'm very happy with but this is a really convenient and effective lazy method. Props to the company.

Absolutely genius gadget
This clip-on silicone pasta strainer has completely transformed my kitchen routine! I cook pasta constantly, and traditional strainers always hog way too much dishwasher space, so this little tool is a lifesaver. It attaches easily to the pot, and I can strain pasta or veggies right from the pot without the hassle of transferring or extra dishes. The best part? It’s incredibly compact and takes up almost no space in my utensil drawer. It’s simple, effective, and now a kitchen essential in my home.

Good concept and would recommend!
Strainer works well, is easy to use, and easy to store! Those are the main perks! The main con is that the strainer develops this white/ashy look after being cleaned and dried.

Will it replace my 10year old colander?
I wanted to test this first before my review and I’ve only tested it once so for now four stars and here’s why. It is super hard to clip them to the sides of the pot, it’s just tough which is good for security but not when my hands are wet, just annoying. Secondly, it will fit any size pot (within reason) I used it on a small 4 quart and it worked but the middle folds into the water. So you have to put your hands in the water to flip it back up or most of your pasta will fall over the lip whine you strain. Do I like it?? Yes! Will it replace my old school bulky colander, I’m not sure yet. I’ll be updating once I have a 100% verdict. It’s hard to replace what isn’t broken.
