My mom wanted to knit a few things for the holidays, so a few weeks ago I ordered her some Merino wool from this brand. She was very happy with it, and the hat she made came out great. Figured it would be nice to try more yarn from this brand, and tried out this 100% Alpaca yarn. My mom used it to make a shawl, and she really loved it.Once again, very happy with the purchase. Keeping moms happy, one ball of yarn at a time. 10/10

This is a bit difficult to get started. It states worsted weight... It may be 4 strands but it is tiny and closer to a sock weight. Chaining it was difficult and undoing it is not easy if it's more than a few stitches. But it is super soft and pretty and once you get going it's not too difficult to use. So far I have only used t with a single crochet blo though. I'm not sure how it would work with something like a hdc or something that requires a bit more strands to work with at a time.You could probably get closer to a standard worsted weight if you double strand, just adjust your purchase to do so.

Oh my gosh this lace weight yarn is stunning! I'm not sure if the other purchasers know that yarn comes in weights but this is the perfectly spun lace weight yarn I've been searching for. I like that this baby alpaca yarn is thin so I can hold it double stranded with a heavier yarn to give it a pop of color. Four bags to the pack is very generously sized as you get over 800 yards to work with. I'm excited to have found this!

This yarn truly lives up to its name—Joy! It’s 100% baby alpaca and incredibly softy. I’m planning to hold it double with another yarn to give my finished garment some extra color and texture.

I was specifically looking for a two ply fine yarn for lacework. I’ve heard that two ply yarns are best for that as they really open up the lacework. This yarn feels so soft, and appears really durable, too!

The name says "worsted," but the description says "lace weight." It is definitely the latter. It's beautiful yarn, and it's really soft. But I didn't even have suitable needles to work with it when it arrived. I was planning on doing something with it held double, but another project came up that required me to get the right needles, so I'll try something with it. It feels very nice on my fingers, so I'm looking forward to it. The one star deduction is only because of the confusing descriptions.

At 200m per 25g this is definitely a lace weight yarn. I’ll hold it double with another yarn for a warm winter sweater and some added color pop. The bright turquoise color is super rich and deep.

This yarn has such an interesting color! It has little specks of orange and gold, and some hints of warm green. It’s super soft and will be perfect for lacework!
