Very nice "Rail to Trail" tire
I purchased these to replace my worn out mountain bike tires. I'm riding the bike more on the street and hard packed limestone "Rail to Trail" paths. These are a little narrower than my old tires and measure about 1-3/4" installed. They have a nice center lug pattern that rolls great on the street. There is just enough side lugs to help navigate basic trails. I inflated them to around 35psi and this provides a good compromise between ride and speed on all surfaces. The listing headline states the the bead is Kevlar, but nowhere on the tire or packaging is this stated. On the box and further down on the listing it is spec'd as a steel bead. As others have stated, the box says Schwinn, but the actual tire is branded Innova, but that is fine.I have ridden a couple hundred miles on mixed surfaces with these and they are doing great. The tire is wearing well, as most of the mold flash and tiny nubs are still on the tire. Easy to install and they perform and look good. Recommended.

Good value for cruiser tires.
Nice tires, they look to be good quality so far. There is no Schwinn branding on the tires other than the box, the tire brand is Innova. I purchased these to use on a vintage Schwinn Heavy Duti and they definitely look great.

Very good tires with great value
Switched my mountain bike tires to this comfort bike tire so my kid can bike to school. Paired them with the Sunlite Bicycle Tubes (would stay away from the Slimes tubes if possible). Very smooth and comfortable ride.Decided to go with Schwinn over the Kendall since it seemed to be a better value - Kendall seemed to wear out fast. The tires were a little bit stiff when first comes out of the box - I put it under the sun for 30 minutes and that seemed to soften it up a little bit. Install was relatively easy - it is a 3 in a scale of 1-10 (with 1 being easiest). Once installed, the tubes and tires fit nicely around the rim w/o any apparent distortions.Definitely recommend this tires for those looking to upgrade their mountain bike tires to comfort tires.Update 9/26/2015:Love these tires so much I bought two more for my younger son's bike. These tires works great along with the Sunlite Standard Presta Valve Tubes, 26 x 1.90. Read a lot of comments about the difficulties a lot of people have put the tires on so I decided to add some pics and instructions.1. Add just enough air to the tube so that it will form a circle by itself2. Slide the tube and valve through the rim and then put the tire around the tube and rim. At this point, the tire is just around the tube - not push in yet.3. Now, just focus on one side of the tire and push it into the rim. Easiest is to start where the valve first - make sure that the blue line on the tire is no longer visible. Don't worry about the other side of the tire.4. Just keep pushing the tire into the rim and going around the whole tire until ALL one side of the tire is in.5. Now flip the rim over and start working on the other side. Again start from the valve and start pushing in the tire into the rim.6. When you get to about 7/8 through the tire, you will encounter resistance. I used a wrench handle as leverage and push the remaining 1/8 of the tire in. DO NOT USE ANY SHARP TOOL.7. Then just slowly filled the tire with some air. Tighten the valve nut. Bounce the tires a few time to make sure the tube is even distribute.8. Check to make sure the tire are completely in the rim, ie, you SHOULD NOT see any blue line on the tire9. Repeat this process until it is complete fill.I used just my hands and a wrench and each tire typically took me about 10 minutes from start to finish. Hope these pics help.

I replaced the worn out tires on my wife's Pedego Interceptor ebike
I replaced the worn out tires on my wife's Pedego Interceptor ebike. I really like the price, they were 1/3 the cost of some of the other tires I looked at. My only complaint was that they came folded up which made it a bit harder to install, needed my wifes help to hold the tire in place while I pressed/pried it onto the rim. They seem to be of good quality, ride is good, would imagine I'll get 2-3 years out of them.

Best tire I've had so far
I got the fatter version, it actually is probably the best tire I've ever had and I haven't been able to get either of them to pop so I would say that's pretty good. Also I've ridden thousands of miles on them even with an electric motor and they still don't look like they've even been used, so I'm very happy.

This is one bad chunky chicken for an ebike
If you've ever been concerned about grams then this tire is a pass. If you wear a special outfit just to cycle it's definitely a pass. On the other hand if you've never considered weighing your bike, think flip flops are perfectly acceptable for a ride, and you are cheap then this 1970s modern marvel has your name written all over it.I stuffed this on the back of a diy ebike that punishes rear tires at 2200 watts. The bike is an old downhill bike and originally had downhill nobbies front and rear. Its not high torque but the dh tire in the back was going to become a consumable just like gas. So being cheap I found this lovely heavy tire. Looks goofy but I could not be happier. It's ran at 55psi and takes curbs straight on without bending the rim. Rides consist of 70% road and 30% poor choices like river rock, sand, golf course grass, granite landscaping, railroad ties etc. Grip is great on regular pavement (much better stopping than dh tire). Grip is what it is on the other stuff and generally half way out of controll but so is the dh tire. One exception is wet golf courses. This thing is slicker than a salesman at Shakey Jakes used car lot while a mtb tire is less fun but much more stable. So if you want a heavy duty ebike tire that's marginally safe at 40 mph that won't wear out in 300 miles grab this chunky chicken. I have roughly 300 miles on it and it has minor wear. Only one flat after being used for purposes that it was not intended for. It weighs more than the tire it replaced, for this application that's a good thing.

I put these on my 15 year old trek and they are great. I don’t ride trails anymore and these tire have very good traction on streets and sidewalks. Very good value!
