What a cool concept
INITIAL DOUBTSWhen this first arrived, I had my doubts. It was vacuum sealed in three separate blocks. One for the bottom cushion, one for the wrap-around cushion, and one for the cover + blanket. The bottom cushioned seemed a little flat. It has shallow egg crate-like bumps on it. I wasn't sure it was going to be sufficient. The wrap-around cushion was one long tube of something inside. It's not polyfill because that would be too squishy. It felt more substantial, like maybe foam pieces. Whatever was inside, the tube didn't seem sufficient either to make a substantial "dog bed". I thought it needed to be a wider tube.ASSEMBLYBe sure to wash the cover and the blanket before using. You never know what chemicals are on there. It survived the washer and dryer just fine. Minimal shedding. (I used medium dryer setting since these are very plush.) The first step is to unzip the straight zipper crossing the black underside of the cover. Slide the bottom cushion into it. I like that the zipper opening is on the upper 1/3 of the cover rather than in the center. It make inserting the cushion much easier. When that's done, unzip the long, looong zipper around the outer edge of the cover. Stuff one end of the tube into one end of the opening you just unzipped. Arrange the rest of the tube around the entire cover until you can stuff the other end of the tube into the other side. Now start zipping. I like that there are two zippers so you can start at the ends and meet in the middle, or you can keep zip zip zipping until you go all the way around. When you get to the end of the zipping, there will likely be some excess tubing that doesn't seem to fit. Just stuff it in as best you can. It's not hard. This extra stuffing will be stiffer than the rest of the edges, so I suggest doing this at one of the ends of the bed rather than the sides. This will make for good head or foot support. The genius design of this bed made a daunting task fairly easy!THE REAL TESTI got into the dog bed for people *giggle* and was surprised I could lie flat in it without having to curl my legs. I'm 5'6", my head was resting on the tube cushion, and my feet were pressed against the opposite end. What was even more surprising was I didn't feel the floor at all. That foam on the bottom is soft enough to feel comfortable but firm enough that I didn't sink through it.Afterward, a plus-sized friend tried it out, and she too remarked how comfortable it was. She didn't feel the hardness of the floor either (note: this was set up on a rug, not a hardwood floor). She threw a blanket on, curled up, and we watched a movie. She did need to pile a couple of pillows under her head for movie-watching, but was otherwise very comfortable the entire time. She was tempted to sleep there for the night, hehe.CONCLUSIONSThis is such a cool comfort item. The plushness makes it feel luxurious, and have no doubt your dogs will love it too. This WILL take up a lot of space in your living room, so there is that, but it's a fun, novel, alternative place to lounge, much like a bean bag serves a similar purpose. I can see this dog bed for humans useful for the following scenarios:- You have several dogs who often jockey for position to sit next to you on the couch. Even if they don't all fit in the bed with you, they can still lie next to you on the floor.- You have a giant dog who doesn't quite fit on the couch but who wants to snuggle you anyway.- You're tired of the couch.- You have rug rats who won't sit still on the couch. This "rug raft" will be a fun place for them to hang out.OTHER NOTES- It has a couple of pockets on one side for your phone and remote.- There's a handle on one end for easy dragging.

This is massive but such a pain to put together
So ours didn't come with instructions. I had to figure it out by myself and then come back here to look at the video. It should be pretty easy being a dog bed but it wasn't lol. I couldn't tell at first where the long piece went. That was an absolute nightmare getting inside the bed. It's so long and it was super hard to get it in the correct way and then I didn't know where the mat went until I watched the video. Maybe it's just me because I have never owned one quite this large. But I don't feel a dog bed should be this hard to assemble lol. Once together it is huge, I mean HUGE!! And it's nice and soft. Plenty of room for a human which is actually what we are using it for. It just would have been better if it didn't take an hour to assemble.

Soft foam and cover; a gorgeous super-sized dog bed
The bed comes in 3 vacuumed plastic bags -- I took the parts out and gave the foam a little time to expand.Putting this dog bed together is ca. a 10-min task, not difficult at all. The zippers worked very well. The cover is a very soft-fluffy material.I have the color Grayish-Blue, just for the reason that the white color wouldn't be white for long once my dog takes ownership of the bed. Otherwise, I think the white bed looks really stylish, but I am happy with the gray-blue one as well. It is machine-washable and since the cover can be taken off and put back so easily, washing is not a big issue. The bed has handles to carry it and move it around, but due to its size, it is something I do not plan to do on a regular basis.I could easily take a nap in that doggie bed, the bottom foam is soft enough for my weight and the rim is super comfy -- but, in the end, my dog is big, and it shall be all his bed.A couple of days in, it has become already my dog's favorite bed. That makes me happy, of course. So, if you have the space in your house, this bed is just gorgeous. And it comes with a blanket.

My boys love it
This is big, guys. It's perfect to hold two people snuggling, or a person and a pup. I washed and dried the cover on arrival, and it washed up just fine. The cover is kind of minky soft. I watched the video before it arrived, so I had some idea of how to put it together, but I still had to refer back to the video. Getting the long piece in is a little tough, because it's longer than necessary... but a good shove did it. Lol. My boys drag it all over the house to lounge upon while watching TV, playing video games, to make a fort out of it, etc. Be sure you have room for it... our place is tiny, and I honestly don't know where I'm going to put it when it's not being used.

Soft, Cozy, and Human and dog love it
I was surprised at how small of a package it came in, as everything was vacuum sealed. There were no instructions, but it was a given of how to set it up. I could do it on my own without anyone else's help. The Human dog bed is now the new nap spot for humans and my dog. We currently have a pretty hard sofa, so this is a great addition to the living room, and we can lay in it for naps or watch TV with our dog. I love how soft the cover is; it seems to be easily removed for us to wash. The corners are super soft, and I just wish the center was a bit fluffier in terms of firmness.
