This car is FAST.... Our family has several RC Cars, I bought this one for myself and its a great RC car for the $$$. First i really like the colors, the black shell with yellow strips is really sharp. I also love that it has a wheelie bar. Some of the other Hosim RC cars we have did not come with a wheelie bar, this one did. The Wheelie bar helps a lot for quick starts and jumps. The pistol grip controller makes it very easy to steer. The controller also has a speed limiter, adjustments for turning radius (large or small) and trim adjustment for left & right drift... I am not sure if these are mechanical spring shocks or oil filled, but they feel very good when you press down on the car and should hold up nicely for most jumps. The car comes with two 1500mAh batteries but it did not include a dual battery connector like some of the other cars we have. I am guessing//hoping this is a accessory we can purchase latter. one charge cable is included but you will need your USB charging block (we have plenty of those, so no problem there). Hosim give you a storage pouch with some extra shell clips (2 sets), you also get a wrench for the wheel nuts, extra wheel nuts, battery straps, screw drivers & cleaning brush.One of the new features on this car is the body shell pins that come on the car are attached with a rubber strap to the hood. We go thru lots of these falling off our other cars, so this is really nice and hopefully we wont lose any body clips with how they are attached to the shell. Overall we really like this new RC car/truck from Hosim, its almost hobby grade without the hobby store price and would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Purchased this for my son to play with as he has outgrown all the slow department store cars. We upgraded to RC rock crawlers a couple years ago, but he has been asking for something faster. I watched a lot of review videos before landing on the HOSIM brand. I have never owned a name brand "professional" RC car so I can't compare it to those. But for a first time user, the truck has been great.It came with two 1500mah batteries. We get about 25 minutes out of each battery. I also purchased a 2600mah battery from HOSIM as well. It is a perfect fit for the truck and lasts about 35 minutes. Surprisingly, I think it is lighter than the 1500mah batteries.My son and I have run about 8 battery charges through the truck and it has been holding up great. All we do with it is drive it around the yard, ditch, and cul-de-sac. I think they call it "bashing". We built a ramp for it to jump and it's been a blast.One of the main things I like about it is that you can adjust the max throttle on the remote. This allows my son to drive it at lower speeds to get used to steering and controlling it. HOSIM also seems to offer a lot of spare parts that seem to be reasonably priced. So when we do break it, it should be fixable.The only downside we have found to it is the shocks. When driving fast through the yard, the front end starts to bounce like a basketball and eventually flips over unless you slow down considerably. I ordered a set of oil filled shocks from HOSIM to see if that will make a difference.Overall, my son and I have been extremely happy with the purchase. I may even buy a second so we can race against each other.Update (4 months):I replaced the shocks with HOSIM oil filled shocks (FY-JSZ01, $34) and it made a world of difference. Super controllable at high speeds now. My son did end up breaking a drive cup, but I was able to order a replacement set of 4 for $9 and had them next day from Amazon. We really do love this thing.

Breaks super easy.had to replace 5 differnt parts haven't even been able to use but maybe 3 times haven't been able use a full battery. Now I am waiting for new shocks 12 days now and still waiting on shocks hopefully this Tuesday I can get them and installed on car. Will absolutely never buy a hosim car again. To many thing break way to easy. Shipping of parts take way to long to get here.

I had a great time running this RC. Although it’s a 1/10 scale, it’s more like a large 1/12 scale. This car is well put together, with metal gears. It runs well on all terrains. However, it handles best on road. I got my fastest speeds on asphalt. 29mph on 2s and 43mph on 3s. You can control it better on 2s. It’s pretty wild on 3s. I got about 20 min run time on the battery. It comes with 2 batteries. I suggest letting it cool down in between batteries being that the motor gets pretty hot. This car is pretty capable right out the box. It comes with everything you need, except for the AA batteries for the remote. This car is perfect for a young user or a beginner. I am an experienced driver and I really enjoyed this car. It performed as well as the more expensive cars, but much cheaper. I also liked the fact that it has headlights, but the headlights are in the front bumper, not the body. So no wires to worry about. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. It’s a great buy.

Great remote control car. My son loves these cars and has a collection! He loves the speed of this car but there have been a few plastic pieces that have broke. My husband broke out the super glue to help repair but the skin has cracked again. You have to be prepared for parts to break and be ready to repair with this specific car!
