These Bormioli Rocco Quattro Stagioni 5-oz jars are lovely to look at, and a great size for spice mixes. We like to keep our own spice blends on hand because it makes quick meals even quicker. We mix up small batches of the spices we use most frequently, and keep them handy in these lovely jars. Things like an Italian blend, a Tex-Mex blend, a special mix we like for seafood, a Mediterranean-style sprinkle for veggies, and a 'This is Tastier Than Salt' blend for everyday. It makes meal prep a breeze. Plus, these jars are pretty by themselves, but they are twice-pretty when they're holding colorful spices :-)Another factor that makes these jars a great buy: this seller [Prune Danish] carefully packs the jars very securely. We weren't sure how well the jars would fare in the shipping, but found out that there is no need to worry. Our first order, a 4-pack, arrived well wrapped and with no breakage. I bought these for overnight oats and salad dressings. The size is perfect and the quality is outstanding. I ended up storing other food items. They kept very well in the refrigerator because the lid is super airtight. Unlike other mason jars where the lid is in two pieces, this lid is one piece. I had some initial doubts about it being airtight, however after storing cooked shrimp for a few days, my doubts were relieved. All fresh!Only wish is that the glass jars are stackable, where one fits inside the other. I have other mason jars that do this and it’s incredibly functional for storing in the cabinets.

I bought these to fill with my harvested dried basil as gifts. They are so cute, sturdy and something you'll want to keep and refill again. I recommend this product!
