Cable diameter is too small
This cable does not engage with the motor in my 2017 F350. Wasted my money. Looking for a different option now.

perfect works
I don't know what others said, but for my 2018 Ford F 150 Platinium 3.5 l ecobust perfectly works.

Way cheaper than Ford
Ford wanted $300 for this part. Replaced old broken ones in a couple hours with no problem. The dealership wanted $1,700 so I saved a lot of money using these parts and YouTube.

Junk Do Not Buy!!!
Piece of absolute garbage-do not waste your time or money on this crap. I bought two sets of these and both had the same results. I had already replaced my sunroof arms with Dorman metal ones (highly recommend). As per the usual plastic pieces in the heat as soon as I replaced them, I saw that my driver side cable had a huge crack in it at the joint. No big deal-ordered my first set of these. Installation is absolutely do-able in the truck without dropping the sunroof/headliner. I installed them and upon the initialization process the sunroof motor (d-side) started popping like the motor was skipping on the cable. Weird- I then took the motor out to make sure the teeth were fine (of course they were) and attempted to manually slide both sides full forward to manually align them. The passenger side slide fine but the driver side was jammed. It turns out that the cable had jammed up in the track and lifted up and bent so it wasn't able to move.I blamed this one on myself as maybe I did not get it seated in the track properly and could explain away the motor jumping on the cable. I then ordered my second set. I re-assembled everything and made sure that the cable was full in the track from front to back (used an endoscope to verify) and it was all good! Both arms manually were slid all the way forward and re-installed the motor. Initialized the sunroof learning procedure and BOOM! Same crap with a completely new cable! The motor skipped on just the new cable. Now, with that being said I didn't measure the cables to see a difference in diameter. I also replaced a single cable and then both cables. Neither made any difference!I will order an aftermarket motor-maybe the gear teeth are deeper for more engagement? I don't know but whoever got lucky with it working with no tinkering-you need to go buy a lottery ticket.

Passenger Side Kinked
Driver side worked. Passenger side kinked up and caused much more work to get it out. Did not make me happy. For $80 I would expect a better product. Luckily the OEM one wasn't broken on that side so I put it back in. Overall it got the job done but poor quality.
