A nice mix of black lava, red lava, zeolite, maifanitum, and diatomite, in medium size chunks. Big enough for good drainage, but small enough to be worked into the roots. I bought this to re-pot a variegated mini jade (portulicaria afra).

I like these pebbles because they are small enough to use in any size pot. I have 3inch to 11 inch pots and these stones look great in all of them. It helps keep the leaves out of the soil especially when I bottom water my plants. Which is great because they don't sit in the soil while it's wet.This is my second purchase. I bought a smaller bag to be sure that the pebbles would be small enough and look good. They are perfect!

I have found I love using this kind of potting mix, it looks good, drains well and easy to work with. I’ve bought this more then once already

Overall pleased with the mix. The pieces are pretty small compared to how they seem in the pictures, but are colorful and serve their function well. I rinsed them and strained them several times before adding them to my potting mix because they were quite dusty. Even after the first rinse or two, there was still grit in the bottom of the bag when I used it. Worth the money overall

I like using this maifanitum for my succulents. Ive used it a few different ways. I like the color for using as a top dressing. Ive mixed it into my soil mix for added minerals. Not having to deal with washing it is a big plus. Even though there definitely is some dust, Ive never had an issue with the drainage holes being blocked or noticed any build up whatsoever in my soil. I like to use it for my succulent leaf propagations too. After laying down coconut coir I just loosely sprinkle some of this on top. I feel it just gives a little extra space between the leaf and moisture and the roots can still easily sink into the coir. I’ll definitely buy more when I run out.

This mix is a good value for the price and I have purchased this product multiple times. This gritty mix is perfect to mix with potting soil to create a blend for succulents and cacti.

I ordered 3 different colors for my new succulents, and what I received was perfect! I thoroughly washed the product prior to use, especially because of the dust. My succulents are already growing roots, so the drainage and moisture retention, along with the mix quality was exactly what I needed and received. Will def purchase from this seller again. I used this mix along with a bit of cactus soil and pine bark fines to repot a few sansevieria and succulents. The amount of rocks you get for the money is pretty decent! I have been able to fill one 6in, three 5in, and four 3in pots so far and I still have a decent amount left. They definitely need to be rinsed OUTSIDE (will clog your drain) before use - I used a stainless steel mesh strainer and a hose. They are darker when watered which gives a good visual of how much moisture is in the soil. It is too soon to be able to tell how my plants do in this mix so I will update this review in a few months!

Bought this for some cacti and succulents to put on top of the potting medium for said plants and yeah looks great .the only thing is the packet was open when it arrived and I'm not sure how much of the packet was lost as the box the came in was not sealed properly either . Used what there was ( approx have a packet ) but disappointed that the packet wasn't taped . And if I didn't need it straight away I would of returned it .
