Amazing little gadget. One of the things I love about this product is its compact size. It is small and lightweight, making it easy to store and carry around. It is also very simple to use. All you have to do is press the sealing arm down on the bag and run it along the length of the bag. I was skeptical about purchasing this little gadget , but I did it anyway. It’s a wonderful little kitchen tool. I seal all potatoes chip bags with it instead of clips. I have been using for 3 months now, still pretty good on the original batteries. I’m giving a 4 - it is kind of flimsy looking and wish it was a tad heavier.

This tools is what you didn’t know that need until you test, but believe me you’ll be in love with this tool.

It said peel back the covering on the pad that makes the seal. I did that and saw a small spurt of energy come out but than tried to use it and nothing so I saw another part with the same tape on it so I pealed it off and still nothing. The only thing I could use is the knife which I would just as soon grab a kitchen sharp knife. Maybe another brand works better.

I truthfully can't decide how I feel about this bag sealer. I'll tell you the details and you can come to your own decisions. It definitely seals the bags. It's a little tricky where the bag seam is but after a few runs if seals up. Here's the issue - when you go to reopen the bag, if you don't have a scissor you're going to shred the bag. I went to go open the chips bag up after it was sealed and I opened it up the way I would a new bag. So I'm trying to pull it apart and instead of opening at the sealed top, it tore in a weird way so I had to pour the rest into a ziplock bag and toss out the original - maybe it seals too well? I guess it's fine if you plan on finishing the bag and not needing to reseal it a 2nd time.

This product arrived on time and is exactly as pictured. I got it a couple of months ago but waited to write a review until I had a chance to use for a bit. This is easy to use, works well, and is so convenient. I have used it on chip and snack bags as well as on thinner plastic such as what I have posted and it sealed them all. The seal line sometimes gets a little wonky but that's due to user error, however even with a weird line the bag is still sealed. I have not used the razor blade yet because I haven't needed to but I checked it and it's definitely sharp. I also love that this product comes with its own batteries. You don't see that often nowadays. Overall great product and highly recommend.

It is not very easy to use.. as in.. the item is small and the 'heating' feature is hard to see once the plastic is placed inside. The heating is not as strong and the 'melting/separation' of the plastic is awful. Its never straight and doesn't melt all the way. The edges still open and plastic looks terrible. And the smell of burned plastic is terrible. I would not recommend.

There is usually just 2 of us and we don't like to eat the same chips everyday so it is helpful to reseal so they last longer. The razor on the back is awesome cause it helps us same space in the cabinet.
