I like the fact that it does what it was made for. I especially like the bracket that holds the glass tube. Very solid and stable.

Large numbers, easy to see. Came with cheap screws, the first one broke as soon as I started to use it. Works great once installed.

This is the ideal rain gauge for anyone with two brain cells to rub together. This is my second purchase of this unit. I always watch the weather closely and the forecast was incorrect by ten degrees .The first one froze and broke . The water in it froze. The container is glass. I’ve read some of the one star reviews complaining about the fragility of glass and freezing water. Get a clue people. Makes me wonder about today’s education system.

This gauge is simple to read and accurate. Installation is easy but you do need to screw it into wood, like on a deck. Good product for the price.
