Works for old Balsam Hill tree!
We bought several replacement bulbs including the LED ones directly from Balsam Hill and none of them fit! We must have an older model. Finally found these and they worked!

Very dim; not all of them work
Got this set to replace the yellow lights in my Christmas tree with multi colored ones. These lights are much dimmer than the original yellow incandescent ones. Worse yet, they don't all work, and it's hard to tell which ones are broken

Excellent replacement bulbs for aging BH tree
I was not able to find any replacement LED bulbs for my 8 year old BH tree (even their own customer service was unable to sell me replacements). That is, until now. These bulbs seem to fit perfectly and have not given me any issues yet. Very happy with the purchase!

Buy Christmas Tree Light Strands That Use This Type of Bulb
Lets talk about mini LED Christmas light strings for that beautiful, American, Christmas you have in mind. To you that may mean buying good quality Christmas tree lights from an, old, dependable corporation you think is American, but is actually now a multinational. I mean like GE, Sylvania or Magnavox. My advice is: don't do it. GE, for example, sells strands with so many different options you find yourself in a store staring at rows of boxes that all seem to be the same GE mini LED Christmas lights, except each stack of boxes is a different color and have wildly different prices. They are trying to soak you for every additional feature they come up with. You'll pay a lot more for a strand that stays lit even if one bulb goes out than you will for a strand that goes half dark when a bulb goes out. And why? Is there a mini-computer in the first one? It's just a difference in how they are wired. What if you could just buy a ton of cheap replacement bulbs instead? Up till now, the biggest problem for me has been, if you decide on one GE strand one year and another the next, the two strands may not have the same bulb base. Nor will they match that Sylvania strand of mini LED lights you bought two years ago or the Magnavox strand you inherited from your folks. And none of the name brands seem interested in selling replacement bulbs for their products, either. If you can find after-market replacement bulbs, you'll pay a fortune for a handful or you're buying bulb parts so you have to take apart an old mini bulb and rebuild it yourself. No thanks. What you eventually wind up with is 5 different brand name light strands, all half-dark, each using a unique bulb base so you can't make even one working strand out of the five. I hate the idea of foreign companies making big profits off cheap knock-offs based of stolen patents. But when it comes to Christmas lights, it's better than big companies that bleed money from you every year, just because they know you need that beautiful American Christmas, and all they have to do is refuse to standardize their Christmas light sockets, even from year to year. You want a reading light that is hassle free, you buy one that takes a standard, screw in, Edison-type bulb that can be an incandescent or LED. Major corporations selling Christmas light strands online never show you the base of their bulb in the ad so you have no idea how workable it will be for you. For mini LED Christmas light strands and replacement bulbs that are beautiful, durable, and share a common socket and base, surrender to your Asian masters and buy from China and Cambodia. (The Philippines tends to produce the non-standard type, I've found). Some brands to look for and where they are sold are: YULETIME and Remagr from Amazon, Northlight and Holiday Living from Lowe's, Home Accents Holiday from Home Depot. You still have to check that the product you are looking at is using mini LED bulbs that have same type of bulb base and socket that is in my picture and on this product I'm reviewing. The bulbs have a round barrel right under the plastic collar of the bulb, are short and rounded at the bottom and have a flap at the top of the bulb base that holds them into the socket. Look for that flap. Strands that have the "bump out" where the receiver for the flap should be will wind up having a different, non-compatible, bulb base. If you can't tell if it is the right strand from the online ad, assume it's not. The safest thing to do is go to the store, open a box of off-brand Christmas tree lights, check for the flaps on the bulb, flip one up, yank out the bulb and make sure it looks like one of these. I've never been challenged. If someone does, scowl at them. Then go on Amazon and buy replacement bulbs, like these, in large numbers for cheap, because the hardware stores selling strands don't sell bulbs because they want you to buy more strands next year. Don't get soaked buying new light strands incompatible with your old ones. Most importantly: don't let Christmas lights make you want to shoot yourself.

Disappointed
These may work for some but they didnt work for me. I bought them because the base matches the ones on my tree but the wires on the base are silver and thicker than the ones originally on my tree and when i put them in they flashed and went out immediately.

Works
Purchased string icicles light from Walmart but needed replacement led bulbs but not warm white. Got lucky and they work. Very pleased but let’s see how they do after rain and cold Christmas time. Good price. Let’s hope they last a least thur holidays .

Do not fit Balsam Hill trees, maybe QC issue?
The build quality of the bulbs seems to be good. However, they only go about halfway into the sockets on our Balsam Hill Christmas tree, and will not light up. I can't comment on the light quality. Also, while the outer box says, "60 Pcs Christmas LED with Warm White Bulb," the inner bag (with the bulbs) says, "MINI LED COOL WHITE 60PCS." Whether the bag is mis-labeled or the product is incorrect, there is a QC issue here. (Since the bulbs don't fit in the sockets, I can't tell which is the case.)

BALSAM HILL Christmas tree LEDs!
BALSAM HILL Christmas tree LED bulbs Like the previous feedback these LED bulbs are perfect for older Balsam tree multi color led trees! Brighter than original and perfect fit. These should be advertised as such. Just wish colors were sold separately. Only the blue LEDs fade.
