NOT RETURNABLE! But I need to return it. Revised later!
Revision: after airing out a few weeks I find the bad smell has gone away. The candies are good, taste good and don't smell funny. So now I like them!You might wonder why I would want to return this item. It has to do with the overpowering petrochemical smell as soon as I opened the dispenser container. I immediately removed all the candies and put them in a large bowl to 'air out' in case the smell was because of that dispenser container. I tried one candy and it did have a slightly off taste, so I'm afraid it is a total loss. The color is fine. This is a bad value for the money. They are not as soft as the ones of this brand I had at our vet clinic. I will pay more attention next time I order anything from Amazon to make sure the item is returnable. I am telling my husband that I tried one of these in case I end up in the ER with poisoning. Given that there are lots of good reviews for this candy, I suspect it is produced in multiple facilities and mine came from a substandard facility with questionable quality control. I have included photos of the candy container.I really need these for an upcoming holiday party, so I will continue to stir the candies around in the big bowl where I dumped them to air out and see if they get to smelling and tasting OK enough to serve to guests. If not, I will throw them away.

The best soft mints
We use these in our business, and everyone must really like them because they disappear fast! This giant jar is great because the mints are exceptionally good, and they last a bit longer than the usual thirty minutes. Especially perfect since my husband’s name is Bob. We love them!
