Strangely Good Alternative to Braggs
We've been using Braggs Aminos as a salty-sauce add-on to a meal-bowl that isn't quite right for 25 years. We use a variety of soy-bases sauces as well, including mushroom soys and other infused soy and tamaris. This "coconut amino" is quite different: it's sweeter, but more importantly it's a rounder, smoother mouth feel. It leaves an oily after taste, but it's not bad. It's similar to using coconut oil in food -- it's a heavy oil. This product is quite light, but there's an oily element to it that Braggs and normal soy sauces don't have.I like it. It's curious. We've tried it out a few times to 'pop' a meal that needs some salt and extra flavor, exactly in the circumstances we'd use braggs or a sprinkling of flavored soy sauce. If you're looking for a really simple amino-acid salty additive for your meals, this is the wrong product. But if you have tried a few or twenty-dozen salty-sloshes, this is very interesting. If you've never tried any of these, instead of salting ("seasoning") your dish: start with a gluten-free tamari. Then try Braggs Amino. Know the difference. Then try "sodium free" potassium/calcium salts. Once you're past that, this is a fun and weird alternative.

Awesome Stuff! Great Soy sauce alternative!
Absolutely love this stuff! This is a great alternative to soy sauce. I have recently had to start an elimination diet (eliminates all dairy, soy, gluten etc.) and this comes in very handy when trying to make any Asian dishes or is also great to saute vegetables in.First off, it has a heck of a lot less sodium than soy sauce and in general is a lot healthier. It obviously tastes different than the conventional soy sauce but I think even the pickiest of eaters could get use to the taste quickly. (My non-healthy foodie of a boyfriend loved the dish I made). Also, it does not have a coconuty taste for those who are worried about that. The price is pretty standard and even a little cheaper compared to buying it in the stores. I go through mine so fast which is why I bought the 16.9 ounce. Overall, will definitely keep buying!

Better than Soy Sauce!
Because of allergies, we had to cut soy sauce out. We all love Chinese style foods. I stumbled on this Coconut Amino Sauce on Amazon, and it's better by far than any soy sauce I've ever used. It doesn't have the overwhelming saltiness of regular soy sauce. Gluten and sugar free but tasty and adds to the Chinese dishes we make at home. 9 stars!!!!!! (O::O)

Good flavor but not soy sauce
I keep hearing about this being better so thought I should try it. It was Ok but I prefer the flavor of soy sauce.

Great product, great price
It gives great umame notes where I can't use soy (allergies). Not the same as soy, but similar "what the heck is that?" effect. I used it just as I would soy sauce in many dishes.

Delicious
I can't use soy sauce due to being gluten free. Coconut aminos is a great substitute for that. I use it in a variety of ways including marinading chicken, adding to salad dressing, or putting on burgers. Delicious without all the sodium taste
