Beautiful!
Such nice yarn to work with. So soft and has a nice twist so it knits up well. Great value! Makes awesome mittens. Will not disappoint.

Used for color work
I needed a little bit of a lot of colors for color work socks, so I bought this and a Tulip Tie-dye kit and got to work. I found that this yarn smelled pretty bad right when I got it wet, but the more I rinsed it the better it got. It took the dye very well, any white spots I got were intentional to add some texture. It's very silky right out of the bad, and after dying and washing feels like a nice, soft traditional sock yarn.I have found its soft and smooth to work with, I haven't run into issues with splitting or losing stitches. I think this is a great, economic buy if you are looking to dip your toes into yarn dying.

Soft and great yarn
Great value, the yarn was very nice and soft. On the lighter side on fingering so there's generous yardage. Great budget sock yarn for dyeing.I haven't dyed mine or knit it up yet so don't know if it will pill. But in the skein it feels like good quality yarn.

This does not easily felt
I am not an experience dyer. I got this so I could try dyeing with some of the wild plants in my yard. The first batch got boiled up in a pot with mullein leaves and left overnight. The result was a bit spotty colored. The yarn stayed intact and un-felted after the abuse. Still have to try it with the woad.

Easy to dye
Easy to dye with black walnut and avocado pits/peels.

Great sock yarn
I bought this for Christmas presents and I am very pleased with how it knits up and how long the skein lasts. The yarn takes dye well and only gets a little fuzzy when wet.

Yarn
The yarn is soft but it took several soap and water rinses and an a few hours of soaking in vinegar and water for the smell of rotten eggs to come out of the yarn.As soon as I opened the bag, the smell hit me and I had to throw it straight into the soapy water.I might come back and update on the dyeing and working of the yarn later.Update: was able to get the smell out overnight. It picked up the dye ok. A few spots here and there were lighter.Might only purchase if I need something quick.

Beautiful Yarn
For the price this is excellent quality yarn. I used it for dye practice and it absorbs colour beautifully. It was very good for my first try. It’s very soft, very light sheen, lovely drape and I am just about to buy more.
