This is the best backpack in this price range on the market. It's suitable for small/medium sized birds. I purchased it for my eclectus boy and he is so happy. We can go out and about, he feels safe inside and yet he can enjoy the views. You get 3 locks for the bird's safety, 2 bowls for food/water and the backpack is so easy to clean. It's light too, side pockets are useful for any treats/harness/keys etc. We don't know how long the backpack is going to last (he is not a massive chewer, by the way), but so far so good and highly recommended.

I have an African grey and this is going to be a great carrier to take her out in. It’s very good quality not sure why others are saying about the perch spinning?. It doesn’t on mine it’s fine looking forward to going out in the sun with it.

Bought for my African grey parrot. Well made , easy to clean . My parrot went in it first time , have yet to take him out in it and hoping he doesn't chew it ! Good sturdy product easy to assemble , decent sized food bowls.

I was keen to see this as we have chickens and it’s always a pain transporting them or nursing them when sick so I thought this would be ideal.Couple of issues1st it has no instructions what so ever2nd the perch is poorly done and you can’t do up the wing nuts tight without pulling the studs out the perch.3rd the materials used are giving of a harsh petrochemical smell that doesn’t really make me want to put an expensive bird in it (or any to be fair)The instructions are a niggle but not essential as it’s not that hard to put togetherThe perch is a problem as you need it firm to stop it rotating and the bird falling off!The smell is also not ideal and still present after 24h so I’m hoping it will go awayYou only get one d ring to attach things inside and for me the biggest issue is for the money the perch Should be steady and whole product should not smell of chemicals.I will have to look at repair filler to re thread the perch or replace the perch with a new one so that it doesn’t spin and studs come looseShame as if these two problems didn’t exist it would be a five star product

It looks stylish and substantialFirstly little disappointed that you have no instructions and the fixings for the perch and bowls are a little crude ( wing nuts )especially at the price point of £169,I really like the size it’s big and so plenty of room for my baby.Happy with how you carry as it has three methods carry handle, shoulder strap or a well designed back pack straps with padding on the bag itself to protect your back and tge bag.At first build the zips are a little hard to do up but they do feel well made. You get two long pockets either side ( for your birds bits and bobs).So happy that it has three window with fold up covers which can be tied back using the Velcro straps and the front window has the zip opening combined in the build. The mesh for the windows are made from “ a near indestructible view panel “ time will tell after a couple of journeys.Going inside the carrier it has a little hook to connect the birds chain in the ceiling, good size perch and two removable stainless bowls ( water and food). All three are position in the middle.I do like the look and design as to save Space when your not using the carry it does fold up so you can store under a bed/ back of wardrobe etc

For the price I would’ve expected much better quality.The instructions that come with this are very poor however it is very simple to put together and once assembled looks great and the bags quality is good. However on further inspection the perch is absolutely useless I cannot figure out a way to Get it to stop rotating . Which will be no good for a bird to sit on because they will just constantly Fall off. Aside from the useless perch it is a very good size cage and comes with three different ways to carry it. Perfect for those essential vet trips or even just to take your bird out and about.

This bird travel bag comes in a box and inside you’ll find the travel bag and accessories. The bag itself is flat packed so is easy to store as it doesn’t take up much room. It is a pretty simple design as the top, middle, front, and bottom are soft sided and it’s the two side panels which are hard so it’s them that keep it open and sturdy. You just zip up the sides, and centre piece, and that creates the fully built travel bag. There are flaps on the front and both sides which can be lifted to reveal a fine mesh window which is easy to see through. It is easier to out of than it is to see in though. This allows your bird to be able to see outside while they are being transported in the backpack. There are two side pouches, which are zippable, to keep any extra things for your bird in. There is a carry handle on the top and some D-shape clips so you can use the included shoulder strap if that is your preferred method of using this. There are also the backpack straps which have good padding, and the back of the bag has padded areas where your shoulders and lower back sit while wearing it for added padding. The perch inside is held in place with the included thumbscrews and is quick to install. You must have them tightened up tight to stop the perch from rotating though. Once all put together, it’s a nice sturdy house for your bird. The see-through mesh gives a good view and at the same time, is strong enough that your bird can’t chew through it. There is a smell to it though and I had to put it outside for a week for the smell to dissipate. It’s a kind of plastic smell which I don’t think would be nice for a bird that’s going to be contained in it. The smell does go but it takes a while in fresh air for it to disappear. A very good solution for transporting your bird around but I feel the price is a little high for what it is…
