Ecstacy Topaz is my favorite gem stone, and so I tend to "collect" these..
Unfortunately, the stones in this set are not up to my color standard. These stones are nearly clear, or very pale, without the dramatic, dynamic sunset-hues (i.e.: brilliant "Rose" to "Burnt Orange" flashes of fire) that I am accustomed to in my preferred gem stone. The settings and closures are fine, however, but I am just disappointed with the stones.

Gold plated????
Purchased these earrings because the color of the stones was appealing. Wore them twice and the "gold plating" is already coming off. WTF?
