A classic for a reason.
There's a reason that this particular rig has been used so widely by so many countries. It's (as to be expected from a communist invention) very simple, and utilitarian. Holds three mags very well, and has a couple pockets on either side. They were originally meant for grenades, but they'll hold a couple of pistol mags or maybe a clif bar or two. It's relatively comfortable, and is built well enough to last. My only complaint is that it is a bit brighter green than I would like, but that's easily remedied with some dye and a washing machine. Good buy for $20.

Looks very retro, Soviet or Chinese Communist military.
Neat piece. It looks like something out of the 84 Red Dawn. Super cool wit wooden toggle buttons. It's amazing that millions went into combat with these. Yikes. Great Prop or to actually carry AK Mags. The tie straps are a bit short for me. It would take a lot of getting used too to look and feel comfortable with it.All that said it's a super cool item. 5 Stars.

Surprisingly comfortable
The fit’s great, it doesn’t feel heavy, even with 3 steel AKM mags in it. I’d recommend getting a buckle for the back strap, or you’ll have to tie it, and that could be uncomfortable if wearing a pack with this.

Scam .....do not buy
This is a scam. Not military surplus. It's a cheap reproduction with weak stitches. The one I received wasn't even a three cell rig. It was a four cell rig. DO NOT BUY

Budget minded rig
Nice chicom rig but needs some upgrades if u want more pouches or adjustments holds ar ,Ak mags or airsoft mags molle and Velcro harness really would make it shine

Low quality reproduction
Product is fine but very cheaply made, product is a reproduction, that's fine not a big deal, stitching is cheap and weak and one of the seven pockets is nylon instead of canvas for some reason. Only one. It's shiny and very obviously the wrong material.
