This product surprised me at how well made it is for the price. I was expecting a really cheap latch, this is anything but that. This latch can take a beating, drop it, drive over it, this thing will survive it.I bought this to keep my side access fence secured. I don’t use a lock with this yet, but for now the latch itself holds well.

This is a great concept, to have a stainless latch that is then finished in black. I have a lot of confidence that this will hold up. I really dislike the normal hardware store ones that are painted steel.However, many of the edges are not deburred and this is not something you can do after its been finished in black. Its also impossible to get to all the sharp edges after its been formed. It would get 5 stars for me if they deburred the edges before forming.Otherwise its a great value.
