This is not an endoscope!!! Do not use as one.
Spot on little welder, with discount it came in at £36 quid, wired with UK plug, and does the job. I've heard that amp readout is not alway accurate with these but, it's just a number. Portable and the only bad point is that its cheaply made, but .. 36quid.... At that you may as well get your grandma one. (I'm gonna get my gran one anyways, she might as well so something useful...).Sorry gran, I know you won't read this because it's in the "world wide web"I've never welded before, but here's my first few lines of sticky metal goop stuff. Best part is having my own slag hammer. Slag hammer. Worth it for that.

It welds fine
The unit works fine, I have used, 1.6 , 2.5 and 3.25 rods, have kept runs short 25mm to 50mm mainly as that's all I've needed, at the price I would have been happy if it lasted the day. I weld every day as part of my job. Weld wise its as good as any portable unit we have , how it lasts only time will tell . I bought it for 6mm dia wire work at home.

Are cheap welders up to it?
I used to weld pipework up to 100mm with flanges for a living. All the welds held water. At a high amperage this welder does penetrate but seems to be no comparison to an expensive welder. This welder need testing by another professional for a second opinion.

Worked and died in 2.5 uses
I used this 2 times as per instruction, have had some welding experience before, worked well, untill it didn't, 3rd time I used it cut out and stopped working all together not happy spending that for 2.5 uses
