. For those of you who are obsessive about protecting their phone, I am one of those. I am willing to even sacrifice a touch of fashion in order to have the security of my phone. Having said that we all like that touch of bling, don't we? Well, this case offers a very sturdy housing and protective mechanism for the phone while combining that with sophisticated touches leather and metal clasp. I love the case. I feel very comfortable that my phone is protected while the same time affording me that touch of luxury that we all can appreciate. And yes, it is already passed the drop test. Thanks OtterBox! Keep this one in the offerings and I'll keep buying.

Extremely solid feeling case. Love the way it looks and feels and I really think it will protect my phone good. Got sick of my Lifeproof screen protector bulging up and there apparently are NO good glass screen protectors for the s7 so I'm hoping I can just get by using the flip cover for protection in my pocket etc.

Bought this to replace a commuter. I've been paying with my mobile wallet and thought this would be a great way to carry my ID with me. It is! The only thing that I don't like about the case is having to take the phone out of the case to use GPS while mounted to my window sticker holder thingy. Good thing I rarely use GPS or else this would not be the case for me.

I originally bought this case in August 2016 and just received a replacement from the company this week. I'm giving it four stars instead of the five I'd like to give it, only because I believe I received a defective product the first time around: The case just peeled and peeled from the get-go like it suffered a severe sunburn. At first I thought some kind of thin, protective covering was coming off, similar to what they put on stainless steel appliances. But it just never stopped peeling, and the case got exceptionally ugly. I finally contacted Otterbox's online customer chat line, and they FedEx'ed me a new one with no questions asked. I just paid $5.00 shipping and handling. FWIW, I wonder if maybe I happened upon a counterfeit case, because the new one I just received has a nubby texture I can actually feel, as well as the leather smell mentioned in other reviews here. I don't recall the one I purchased here on Amazon ever having such texture or smell---although it does LOOK pretty much identical to the new one (except for all the peeling, of course). This new case does look great; the buttons are easy to press and it keeps my phone safe and secure. So far, so good!

This is my second case. I had the first one over a year and loved it. I only ordered a new one because I shoved too many cards into the card slot & stretched it out & when I went back to my basic 3 they kept falling out. This case will easily last years.

I value the protection afforded the transparent surface of the instrument that the item contains.
