The color is spot on and the rug is soft for this type of rug. I have many of these in my home in different sizes and some with fringe and some without. The size is accurate and I'm very happy with the rug. Some mentioned it's rather thick on the edges, but all of these rugs due to the type of sisal used must be turned under so that the rug does not unravel or have fringe where the edges are knotted and tied so the edge is a little thicker. For a sisal rug, it's stretchy and easily shaped if for some reason the rug is not completely square. I shopped this rug from all of the multiple rug sites when you google this particular brand/same rug and Amazon had the most competitive price and free shipping. It arrived sooner than expected and the color of the rug is a really nice change from the typical neutral beige. I will say that this rug is extremely heavy and well made. I also noticed that some of the reviews indicated that there are sticks sticking out of the rug and it's uncomfortable to walk on. This rug is really nice and rather soft for a sisal rug and you might find a few little sticks, but it's part of the fiber of the rug and they are easily removed, but common for this type of material. This is a true gray and the one photo with my Bengal cat appears to be more beige, but it's only the lighting. There were some reviews that indicated it's difficult to vacuum, but I have a Dyson Animal Stick and it's easy to vacuum, but one of the things I love about this type of rug it doesn't ever look like it needs vacuuming. Due to the technique of making the rug, it is not perfect like a wool rug, but that's part of the natural beauty. I love it!

I bought this to cover a heavy traffic carpeted area and it works wonderfully! It's not my first jute and it exceeded expectations. Its beautiful, high-quality look (evenly woven, not too rough feeling, lays flat) and just feels good when we walk on it. Highly recommend. I had no problem with dust or dirt.

Bought the runner in natural for the master bathroom. Such beautiful colors and textures. It’s not a flat color, many rich shades. I’m very happy with it.Yes, it does shed a lot of dirt from the natural fibers, and now from waking on it, fibers. This honestly does not bother me, as I roll it up and sweep under it twice a week. It is what it is.But I would not even consider vacuuming it, or even sweeping it. It would probably not last very well if I did. Just give it a good shake.That said, my experience with it convinced me not to buy the 6x9 purple for the living room. That would just be too big for me to shake out, and would require a lot more effort to sweep under twice a week, between having to move all the furniture and what not. I guess it would be like CrossFit training.

I thought when I bought these that "chunky" referred to yarn thickness, but what you need to know is that you need to have slightly more than 3/4” space between floor and the bottom of any door that you might want to swing over this carpet because the way it is woven, it has a very tall profile. However these rugs are gorgeous and would be perfect for any location where a door doesn’t need to swing over them. These rugs are soft and also reversible in my opinion because they do not have backing. I really wanted these to work but had to return due to the clearance of my door sweeps.

I can't deny that the few negative things within the reviews are right, it does shed some, and there could be a little bit of dirt (a "little bit"), but that's to be expected with this type of rug. I'm incredibly thrilled. I just moved and made my kitchenette a rustic/old French look, mostly filled with my mother's things (RIP Momma), and this rug was the absolute PERFECT finishing tough. The color is spot on, very rustic looking, which goes with the picture I chose, the old and painted real/huge/heavy milk can from the old farms, and all else that's in there. It complements the room so much. When buying a rug like this, people should understand this isn't a fuzzy, cushy, comfy rug, this is a woven, straw like rug and it comes with flaws for people who aren't expecting or realizing that. Personally, I'm thrilled, oh so thrilled. I couldn't find this anywhere and knew exactly what the room needed beneath the small counter height ice-cream parlor sized brown table. It's lovely, imperfectly lovely, exactly what I expected it to be. I highly recommend.

This rug is the most disgusting thing that has ever happened to me. I saw the reviews about dirt, but there were also rave reviews, and I really, really liked the look of this rug. I decided to give it a chance, hoping the dirt reviews were somehow a fluke. Worst. Decision. Ever. The reviews about dirt are no exaggeration - quite the opposite! They don't do the problem justice! Immediately after opening the plastic, I noticed dirt. Everywhere. I decided to unroll the rug a bit and try to vacuum it, as one reviewer suggested. It quickly became apparent that this was a ridiculous effort. I vacuumed a dozen times, but with each shift of the rug, more dirt appeared. It is a thick, heavy, woven rug. There is no way you can just shake the dirt out. It is like someone buried it in their garden, dug it up, shook it out a little, and delivered it to your doorstep. It even smells like thick, wet dirt. The smell got stronger the longer it was out of the plastic. I could smell it from the next room. I am not one of those people who can't stand "natural" smells. But this smells like someone dug up a few wheelbarrowfuls of dirt after a rainstorm, and dumped it in your living room. I would not use this rug on a patio or in a shed, much less in the house! The only people who would like this rug are people who live with 10 dogs and 5 goats, and frankly I think even they would have qualms about it. I would give it no stars if I could. I don't know how Amazon can sell something like this. The only good thing I can say is the return process was relatively painless. There was no return shipping charge, and you can ask UPS to pick it up for you. I nearly wept for joy when the USP guy came to lug this disgusting thing out of my house forever.

It is quite knobby but comfortable. It adds texture and charm to my coastal themed living room! No smell or shedding, I love it!

The rug I received is not like what was pictured. It is VERY cheap and doesn’t lay flat.

der erste Eindruck ist super! Wirkt sehr hochwertig, tolle Fußmassage. Staubt sehr stark, aber durch gründliches Absaugen kein Problem. Mal sehen ob er sich wie hier bereits beschrieben wurde irgendwann auflöst. Lieferzeit war sehr lang (2 Wochen?) , da er plötzlich nicht mehr verfügbar war. Und 10€ Versand erscheint mir teuer
