Stiff and sturdy
Purchased this 12” wide broom to help pull leaves from around furniture on porch. On a whim so I wouldn’t have to get the vacuum for the door carpet, I tried this broom. Wow! It really grabs hold! I’m pretty sure it pulled more dirt and dog hair from that carpet than our vacuums did when they were new! It was a challenge to sweep carpet, but did great! I won’t use it that way often since the sectional handle or plastic (?) brush base we’re not designed for that pressure. But it works extremely well on concrete. Too tough for washing scratchable surfaces but this is a very nice broom!

It's exactly what i wanted...
something with stiff bristles to clean the driveway... that isn't a big janitor's broom...it's strong enough to scrub... and the handle takes the pressure...

Easy to use
Liked the price, color, assembly. The handle does untwist itself slightly from the broom. I simply turn the handle again to tighten it up.

Scrub the floor
If you think your tiled floor is clean THINK AGAIN. I use this to clean my floor - drop some mop water on the floor and scrub with this and watch the nastiness come up. Yal it’s crazy.

does not telescope, screws together LOL
Seems sturdy enough when the 3 handle pieces are SCREWED TOGETHER, but I'm not going to keep unscrewing the handle parts to make shorter for storage, and lose parts (handle parts cannot slide into each other because if screwing together hardware.)The telescopic snap adjustment shown in pics? Oh it's there-- but it is just glued onto the ouside of the top screw-together pole. Hysterical! Has no function.Am guessing from older reviews the old telescoptic system didn't work so they added screw parts to sections-- the illustrations above show that you screw them together. There is no way to collapse screwed together parts. Why they still say telescopic and have the glued on adjuster that serves no function is beyond me.Also, I got a box with no directions that had been opened and obviously retaped, so not new. Someone else kept the instructions that didn't make these parts telescope when they sent it back, or it never came with directions because there is no way to illustrate how to make this work as advertised.I wanted a stiff broom to push snow away from the door from inside the house (because you can't shovel up against a door, or get to shovel without stepping on snow and packing it down) so this will be fine for that, but it won't easily fold down for off season storage (unless I want to unscrew and tape the sections together in a bundle so they don't get lost, which I don't want to do) so I could have just bought a wooden broom and handle that would recycle/biodegrade someday.

Small But Sturdy
This is a very nice little push broom. My husband was poo-pooing the assembled pole on it but was surprised at how sturdy it was when he actually tried it. I have a house full of tiled floors and this is great for cleaning the tile. As an added bonus, the broom works really well removing hard to get out of area rug dog hair.

Works for what I need it to do
I got this push broom to clear out my drive way and patio area which are not very large spaces so the size is just right for what I need however I do notice it gets "stuck" while using it on certain areas of the cement. It could be I am just not so graceful when using it.

Disappointed
While this broom is very sturdy it is too stiff to remove much as the "bristles" don't bend enough to carry the dirt away. I do like the handle and attached it to my old broomhead, as it was the old handle that had broken.

It's smaller than I expected.
It's smaller than I expected and does not sweep anything up well at all, it actually didn't last long at all it's very cheap quality and not at all worth $36. The broom head kept falling off every other minute while sweeping which is annoying lol also the bristles were awful, it took forever to sweep one small area. I would not buy this broom again because it's really cheap quality and unnecessarily priced too high.

DON’T BUY THIS BROOM!
I shop on Amazon quite a bit with no issue. But this purchase was a total disappointment! I’m quite good at putting things together. The broom would not say connected to the handle no matter how I tried. When it did I could not figure out how to attach and extend the handle???
