The fit, quality, and look of this was better than i imagined it would be. my son received lots of compliments when trick or treating. He’s obsessed with harry potter and having this to wear all of the time makes him so happy. Such good quality.

After some searching for the perfect HP cloak (I was quickly corrected when I called it a robe) this was the best option for price point, quality and authentic look and feel (according to my 7 year old). I’m pleasantly surprised by the quality, looks good in person and isn’t too thin or cheap. Sure, it’s polyester and not the “official” Hogwarts product but it fits my tall and skinny second grader, looks legit and is holding up to near constant wear over the last week!

Though I do wish this item was not so expensive, it is good quality and fits to size. If you get a size up it can be a Halloween costume for more than 1 year. Sadly, I didn’t do that but I will definitely donate it to be used again and again since the cloak seems like it has the ability to last quite a while if taken care of.

This isn’t EXACTLY what I was hoping for, but better than the other ones I have ordered previously or seen in stores. I ordered a Large, cuz that’s what my kid wears.PRO’S: Fits nicely on arm length, material is good, not too hot, comes with house crest patch. Not bad for the price.CON’S: I didn’t like that the yellow on the inside is only a strip down the inner edges and is not sewn on the inner edge so it can stick out; the yellow inner part in the hood is smaller than the black outer piece as well (but you can only tell that part by feeling). I will have to pin down the yellow piece, but I wish it covered the entire inside. You can also see the stitching/sewn areas on the yellow part where connected to the black, instead of it being on the inside so you can’t see it. Also the length was slightly long, goes to the floor for my kid.

My son was 5 years old this Halloween and had his heart set on being Harry Potter. I was looking for a Gryffindor robe that could go over warm street clothes (we live in the Northeast, and Halloween can be COLD). This certainly fit the bill!Note that the robe is the only item that comes with this purchase. We happened to already have HP glasses, wand, and scarf on hand at home. My son wore a black HP shirt and pants underneath.When it arrived, we were pleased with the purchase. It looked nice and had a sturdy velcro piece at the neck that made it easy to put on / take off. After the first try-on, we noticed the poor quality sewing job at the bottom hem of the robe. There were long strings coming off everywhere. Each time we wore it, it came apart more and more, and I'd have to cut the loose strings to avoid him tripping. After three wears, I had to resew the bottom hem myself. We were also disappointed in the hood, which did not stay up at all despite our best efforts. We just left it hang down the back as decoration.Overall, my son couldn't have cared less about the quality of the robe and was thrilled with his costume, so we're happy. For the price, cutting the strings and quickly resewing a hem weren't overly inconvenient in my opinion. Just a heads up for future buyers!

The design seems to be correct, similar to what’s in the movie. But for the price of this halloween dress, I expected better quality. It came with loose stitches, which grew into a large crack after wearing it for a day. Kind of disappointed.
