Wrong holes drilled from manufacturer- brackets impossible to install because hole spacing is incorrect. DOES NOT FIT ON 2016 R1200 GSA with factory pannier rack- too short. Beyond return window and now stuck with a $60 paperweight.

I like the price. Box quality is decent. Clamps are ok. Hardware seems fine.I have big hands and arms and found out it was too difficult to reach into the box for the back nut and washer. I have a rivnut or nutsert tool, so I use M6 rivnuts in place of the included ones. I had to make the holes a little bigger (3/8”) to accommodate the M6 rivnuts. The box and hardware fit perfectly on my 2023 GSA with stock BMW racksThe instructions were not clear to me but worked well as an aid to guide me.The job took about 30-45 minutes. If I had to do another it would be a 15-20 minute job.Hopefully this helps.Bottom line, I’d buy it again.Also I used service removable thread locker since the rivnuts don’t have the nylon threads like the supplied hardware did.The supplied lanyard was way too short so I made my own. You can see because I used rivnuts I had to put the lanyard on the opposite side from where the supplied directions indicated.

There are a number of negative reviews on this product. I understand why. It's not perfect. However, it's not really all that bad. First off...it's not worth what that Toura...something is charging. They want $229. It is definitely NOT worth that. However I found it here for around $50. It IS worth that. It's true that it's just a plastic box, with some metal accents. It is also true that it will leak without a little effort. It is also true that it is not 'secure'. It could be breeched with simple hand tools. However, It does look pretty good, it fits either side of the bike depending on which side has the exhaust. (Even though it is listed for late model bikes, it will fit 2005-onward) Once installed it fits well and looks like it belongs. The mounting hardware seems to be quality. It is stainless. To resolve the likelihood of leaks, I removed the metal sections and split the case in half and glued it back together, sealing the seam. Once mounted it is sturdy and does not get in the way of anything. It is big enough to hold my small jump start pack, a small air compressor, and tire repair kit, as well as some extra tools etc. I wouldn't store money, passports, or other important/valuables in it (except for maybe a few $20s for an emergency), but it is secure and unobtrusive enough for basic supplies and tools. Overall I think it is a good value at $50 and 30min of work. I'll update this if things change.

Cannot be happier. I unassembled it all and seal it all with sealer so it is 100% waterproof....took me 15 minutes. Cannot ask for more taking in consideration that the BMW or any aftermarket box like this one goes for 3 tikes the price. It is a simple took box, looks awesome and it is a great buy

Installed on my 2009 R1200 GSA. Just what I needed. Happy rider.

I purchased this product for my 2023 1250 GSA. I was having work done on my bike in the shop and waited for other parts. The 30 days expired 5 days ago. Today, I attempted to mount this product to my bike and the holes on the actual product were misaligned by so much the the holes from the bracket do not aligned. Not even a little bit. Unfortunately, the return time is on me. However, be advised that the box is also quite flimsy. Do yourself a favor and save your money for a reliable product.

Dimensions parfaites pour mettre les outils. Construction solide. Excellent rapport qualité/prix.La boite n’est pas totalement étanche, mais elle laisse écouler l’eau. Si on est prêt à faire le compromis de mettre les outils dans un ziplock. En utilisation Rallye, c’est parfait.

Excelente, se acopla bien a la moto, muy buenos terminados

No complain. It works as expected. I added sealing foam around the lid. No water leak after the bike wash.
