These are got adjustable, dimmable, they don’t change colors or turn on or off. They are just a plain white LED that turns on when you plug it in and provides a decent amount of light at a very low am draw. Great for adding an extra utility light in your car using a USB charger, a nightlight using a wall charger, or add a utility light to a USB backup battery to use for camping or power outages. Add a bendable gooseneck USB extension (sold separately) to make this into a small reading or task lamp you can power from any USB source. Very useful little gadgets.

As always, whats is your application. I read, "To bright, To Dim, To much Glare.." Well here's reality. Do they make a great work light, NO. to dim. That sad, The glare is bad. I put 3 of these in my RV. I have a usb port under the dinette. I put 2 of them in there to give enough light to see to find the interior light switch. I'm impressed! Plenty to get into and out or rig. I also put one at 3ft elevation on the slide side which allows you to look right at it. I had to unplug it. Looking at the light is just to glaring. I'm thinking of ordering a set of dark blue or red ones. So, yes they are bright enough for MY application, to dim for a work light and yes, the glare is overwhelming.

The best I've ever used

The console and glovebox of my truck have USB ports, but no lighting. So, at nighttime it’s difficult to see what’s in them. I plugged one of these into each storage area, and voila, I have perfect lighting to see what I’m looking for.

The leds are easy to use, just plug in to usb in the car, car chargers, usb port on computer, tv, or any usb port. I have two in my car, one in my tv, and one as a hallway night light plugged into a phone charger. These are a little too bright for most of the applications i needed them for. I used a thin strip os black electronic tape to cover about 60% of the led plastic cover to reduce the amout of light. The purple in the car dash board is taped up. The green behind the tv is not tapped. I like the added color behind the tv, i plugged the light into the extra usb port, you could put multiples in other ports. Overall i feel these were a good value for the multi pack, green, blue, purple, red, white and yellow colors were all pretty good.

Note that these little lights come in a variety of colors, and they all look the same when not powered on. I initially got the wrong color delivered to me - was red when supposed to be blue. The exchange process was pretty easy though, and I got my new blue lights the next day. Just be sure to test them when you get them so you know you got the right ones!

Stick it in the end of a USB charge pack and you have a dim, red light for your backpacking tent that doesn’t kill your night vision. Key to successfully negotiating those nocturnal calls of nature without blindly running into something as you stumble out of the tent. Haha.
