Excellent product and transaction. It solved my problem getting a broom closet door to stay closed. I located one magnetic catch just below the pull knob on the door and it works perfectly.

Six of these hold a piece of 1/4 inch plywood with the size of 35"/46". The plywood covers an open bookshelf that holds aquarium equipment. Two or a maximum of four would have been strong enough to hold the board but since it's not perfectly flat that was the best way to get a snug and flat fit. The weakest part of the set is the double sided tape. It came off of three of the metal catches, but I had a roll of very strong mounting tape, so that was an easy fix (and no reason to duck a star). Overall, I love how the six magnets almost suck the board onto the shelf. Great product.

I got these as part of my earthquake preparation in the kitchen. The idea is to have something that will keep the cabinet doors closed during The Big One that is overdue here in the Northwest, thus saving my china and glassware. We found these easy to install, but to our surprise and puzzlement, they don't all have the same strength. Two of our doors now open with a gentle tug, making us wonder if these doors will hold during shaking, while one of them is so tight that we have to give it a persuasive tug to open it. We're pretty sure the last one will hold during an earthquake, but we can't understand why the door latches aren't all the same power?

I replaced latches in my camper with these. Very easy to install and work like charm. They were also surprisingly inexpensive.

I bought 2 to hold closed a lightweight steel screen door between the house and the garage .The opening was too small (or the door too large) to fit in the catch supplied with the door.Ended up needing both because one wasn't strong enough to do the job.Thought they'd be stronger.

I bought 4 because I had two new medicine cabinets without magnetic clasps. I thought I'd have to put one on the top and bottom of each door, however, the magnet is so strong, that I only needed one for each door. The adhesive strips helped me position the metal bar so I could drill the holes for the screws. It all worked perfectly.
