My family has a lovely tradition of exchanging Christmas ornaments on Thanksgiving so that we get to enjoy our new ornaments for the year as long as we have our decorations out. The rule we have is that it has to be from the heart. Does not have to be handmade, but that is of course a little more fun. I for one like knowing that no one else has one like the ones I make, not to mention there is an actual use for all of those pinterest boards I hoard. :)This year I wanted to create snow globes but one that could be hung on a tree. So I took a few ideas I've seen around and the crazy crafty unicorn in my brain and I got to work. In a lot of the snow globe ideas that I got was using mason jars and similar but I thought using a classic Christmas lightbulb would be so cute and just a little different take on it. These were the perfect size and amount to make all the ornaments I needed. I ordered them two different times and both orders were identical. They were all in excellent condition, so dents, scratches or anything like that. The bulbs came apart really easily and I was able to put in all of the glitter and goodies before sealing it all with hot glue and mounting it to the wood slice and finishing with floral picks and relocating the string from the base to the tip of the bulb for hanging.They turned out far better than I had pictured and the looks on the faces of my family as they unwrapped their ornaments was absolutely priceless and well worth the glue gun burns. I cannot recommend these higher for whatever project you have in mind for them.

This product works and looks great with a few tweaks. Yes there is an opening at the top. I used pom poms to pop in and close this. No glue and hassle free. I used sprinkles for sugar cookies and filled them near 2/3rds full or where the bulb bends near the top. This is 2oz. A funnel was helpful if the sprinkles were small. I used some decorative sprinkles that required much more patience getting them in but the end product was adorable!

Very good quality, great for crafting the only thing is the top has a hole through the lid if you have something small that you are putting in it or lose glitter like I was but I glued a cotton ball into the opening to keep the glitter confined, I did buy 4 singles from another place and the quality wasn't there like this. Would buy again differently.

Loved these and they were great to craft with. Did report that one was missing the metal band but the company didn't do anything about replacing it. So I was only able to use 11 out of 12.

I bought some at a local store and I needed more...the description stated it was slightly bigger then what I already had and the image didn't seem like they were going to be the same....however I decided I would make it work with what I already had.When they arrived they matched exactly to what I already had so it made my project perfect.

We rolled a variety of different denominations of money with a $1.00 showing on the outside. We tied them with a little ribbon, stuck them in the bulb and hung them on the tree. On Christmas we had our grandchildren play a dice game and when anyone rolled the predetermined number they could go find a plastic bulb, open it up and put all the money into a common bowl to be divided equally among all the grandchildren. We also timed the game to make it a little more exciting. Great fun to see them all cheer each other on!

I wanted to use these for sprinkles to add to cookie kits. However the tops are way to difficult to put back on.

Great for crafting and a larger size. I used these for dip mixes and I got about two servings of dip mix into each bulb. One thing I hadn't thought of, though, was that the openings don't screw on (they are like a regular ornament) so they definitely don't seal tightly. I put aluminum foil in there for the first couple, but it was hard to get the top to poke through the foil without tearing big holes anyway. Still worth a five-star rating for quality
