Great salad bowl sized perfectly for 2 people

I have several dinner and salad plates of Portmeirion pottery. I have had other collections of dishes over the years, and the Portmeirion is THE strongest and durable pottery I've used. Most other dishes which are also quality pottery, have chipped and broken over the years. None of my Portmeirion has cracked or broken, and I've had it for years. That's a pretty good testament of a great line of pottery which truly does stand up for years.So decided to get the large salad bowl. It came with a Lilac in the middle instead of Iris.....I guess it's okay, still pretty. Great size bowl for salad for two or four. Very attractive, looks good on the table and in my glass front cupboards. Worth the investment.

I bought the salad bowl as a present because I also have one. Not only is it beautiful, it feels good in your hands and is multifunctional which can be used for anything besides a salad. I have several pieces of the botanic garden collection and just love owning them. While they are not cheap, it is well worth the money

I have friends who use this beautiful dinnerware and I was so pleased to find this beautiful bowl to add to their collection. They use it as a salad bowl and thank me every time I see them!

Il pacco è arrivato integro, ma all’interno la zuppiera era rotta, non era stata imballata in modo sufficiente. È la prima volta che mi succede, ho già acquistato varie volte le porcellane Portmeirion e non mi era mai successo. Fra l’altro la descrizione dice che il diametro è di 25 cm, in realtà è più piccola dia. Interno 21,5 esterno 22,5. Molto piccola: sufficiente per 1 o 2 persone; reso. Devo dire che è stata prontamente ritirata il giorno dopo!

Beautiful bowl for salad, fruit etc. Deep bowl so 9” is plenty big enough for 2-4 people

The Portmeirion products I bought from Amazon UK this month (3 sets of plates) have all been exactly as shown in the images. The two items I have purchased from Amazon SG have not. All Portmeirion is lovely so I am not going to return them, but I am disappointed, having deliberately chosen a salad bowl with a blue flower design as a central motif, to have received a red one.

Obviously well made in England, not like some foreign imports. Beware! We are very pleased with the product.
