Wasn't sure how to get the crabs out at first. No instructions but quickly figured out. Deployment was easy, just released the 2 hooks. Cast out and tie rope to nearby mangroves. Getting the suckers out is quick n easy. Hold trap over bucket and compress the trap of the bottom end to half and everything comes sliding out. I love it.

This is really good net , I put it into the beach , and caught big crab.

I am amazed at the quality and the size. Perfect to carry and the net is really strong. On my first catch is had over 20 crawdads and 12 catfish inside. Will definitely buy more when needed.

I bought this crabtrap as a starter trap to catching live crabs. I've never done much crabbing before and wanted to try it out, the trap is very durable and strong, it's not heavy or bulky in any way whatsoever, however, it is just a little small for catching bigger crabs in. This trap is more ideal for catching bait fish and smaller crabs like (hermit crabs) in it. Overall it's an inexpensive trap for the beginner, but I would strongly recommend a larger trap if you want to catch bigger crabs.

Was kind of skeptical at first but once I put the trap out and waited about an hour I had 4 crabs and 10 shrimp in my trap. So I decided to put the trap back out and came back after 2 hours and had 8 more crabs and At least 2 dozen shrimp in my trap. Also a couple of small fish. Depending on were you live make sure to register and get proper floats and tagging for your trap or the game warden will fine you and take your catch.

I use the traps for crawfish in fresh water lakes in Utah and they work great. have caught 100 to 200 in a night in one trap. if the trap is full be gentle pulling them up, once in the trap they do not get out like other traps. They fold down small for storage, easy to open and dump crawfish out. i have 6 traps and have used them about 40 times. I leave them out overnight and the traps are holding up good. no repairs yet. when they do wear out I will buy new ones, defiantly have got my moneys worth out of them. Easy for kids to use (my 4 year old grandson). NOTE: Do not buy the cheaper ones that do not have a door to open and get them out. i know because i tried them first and gave them away because you have to remove each crawfish by hand one at a time.

They were exactly as advertised and loved putting them to use at the outer banks in NC. They honestly worked great on blue crabs baited with some chicken necks. Was not able to use the trap door but some sturdy gloves worked great for retrieval. I simply did not read the instructions well enough. Even ordered two more so we can spread out more traps over the area next time!

We were excited when we got this item delivered but unfortunately it did work out as well as what we expected. It is nice they send you some bait bags but we never catch anything. We were going to catch some fish. But every time we don’t know why our bait is gone but without breaking the outside. But we did not catch anything either. That is funny, right. And I read the previous customers’ reviews, people mentioned more about trap crabs.I guess maybe next time I just need try catch some crabs.I just would like t add some more words as follow:I edited this review, since the seller contacted me and gave me some solutions and suggestions, that was very nice of him/her. WORKS VERY WELL ESPCIALLY FOR THE PRICE. BOUGHT IT TO CATCH CRAW FISH AND DOES A GREAT JOB PLUS IT COMES WITH A CARRYING BAG AND IS VERY COMPACT FOR MY CAMPING BAG

It’s great. We just use it for fun so the kids can catch minnows. 12 hour soak and we got 13 fish. Some baby Bass and some sunfish. Next time we got 4 turtles and see me more fish. (Catch & release only for us.)

I have Amazon Prime and item delivered in a timely fashion. I have not yet tested out the trap, but it is as you see in pictures displayed.

Does what it should be doing. Check sizes for Ontario fishing.
