You Get What You Pay For
I am a Search and Rescue/Recovery Technician, and have been using the lifeproof Fre since I had my Galaxy 7. When I responded to Houston for Hurricane Harvey, I was one of the few people not cramming my phone in a ziplock bag, or a waterproof pouch on a lanyard. The lanyard types, most people had to remove their phones to talk on them. Only had one issue with the charging port cover breaking. Called Lifeproof and they sent me a free replacement with no red tape. Now have the Galaxy 10, and noticed improvements compared to older models. The main features I love is Fre making my phone waterproof, dust proof, the Screen protector and for the full protection; the Fre doesn't make my phone feel over sized and bulky. My phone is still almost true to size.

Does it's job
This is my third Lifeproof case (3 different phones). I buy them because I like the all-inclusive protection they provide, especially covering the screen. I have never tested the waterproof aspect of any of them. The screen itself does become scratched if your hands are dirty or if the screen is dirty when you touch it. This will happen as the case is plastic, not glass. I do wish that the power port door clipped shut a little better. It's pretty easy to flip it open when pulling it out of your pocket. My complaint of this particular case is that the plastic covering the rear cameras becomes foggy. Barely 3 months of use and suddenly my pictures were terrible. Since I didn't want to buy another case, I tried polishing it first using Meguiar's G12310 PlastX with a q-tip. This worked surprisingly well, but I never had this issues on my Galaxy S5 or S7 case. Perhaps this is due to the camera area being larger and easier to touch, or they're using a different type of plastic.

still a good case
i LOVE the Fre LifeProof cases. I buy one for every phone I have. this is my first phone with a curved screen (I had iPhones up until the s10 came out) and the built in screen protector drove me insane so I had to take the case off. I had to push significantly harder to make sure that I was actually touching my screen, then there was the tapping noise of said screen protector so yeah. ZERO problems other than that. so if that isn't a big deal to you, go for this case! I'm like a phone case hoarder so I have a different case on now but definitely am keeping the LifeProof case for when we go camping, floating, 6 flags, etc so I don't have to worry about extra phone precautions.

Good case, fingerprint reader will not work with the case.
The case is good, protects the phone well. The fingerprint scanner does not work on this case though. I followed the directions, the first two times, the little circle that is supposed to be left behind when you remove the applicator came off with the applicator. I got the circle to stay the 3rd time but once I put the case on, the phone would not recognize any fingerprints.

Safety over Quality
To summarize, this case will probably keep your phone safe but you're going to also notice it substantially decrease the quality of your enjoyment with the phone. If all you care about is safety then maybe consider it.Pros: - Sturdiness and safety This case could be used to as a hammer if you wanted to - Thin protectionThe thing that this case has over OtterBox is that it isn't so incredibly bulky that you feel like you're holding a brick-like with OtterBox casesCons: - The screen coverThe screen gets SO much less sensitive and gets a bad feel to it. It constantly has a bubble underneath it. In addition, my fingers feel like they half-stick to the cover as well. This is the biggest reason why this case isn't good. - Poor audioOne downside of a really insulated and waterproof case? All the audio sounds really hollow coming in and out - Front cameraLifeproof put some special material for the front-facing camera, but hey it isn't over the spot for the front-facing camera. This lends itself to my thought that this case wasn't really made for the S10, it was just slightly resized from another phone and they didn't want to bother optimizing it for the S10. - WaterproofingThe biggest selling point of Lifeproof cases are that they are waterproof, but most phone now (including the s10) are mostly waterproof. So as long as you're not planning to store your phone in the sink when you're not using it then the waterproofing might not be needed. - High costFor one of the most expensive cases that you can get for the S10, it doesn't seem to give the value that you hope it would.Overall, get a cheaper case that covers the back well and invest in a glass cover instead. It'll keep the phone just as protected for way cheaper and provide you a better experience.

Protection has minor set backs. But it's the best case out for the protection!
This case is the best protection for your phone! It gets submerged in water all the time!My only complaint about this case is they still haven't made a durable enough adapter/fix for the case so that the fingerprint scanner always works. Also I'm in very dirty environments. Fine dirt and grinding metal often. Would be nice to have a way to clear or clean the mic port without worrying about damaging the protective film. Sometimes makes it hard for others to hear.Overall..... my phone always looks like brand new when I take the case off!

Strong Case BUT air bubbles won't go away
Just got the case. It appears to be very sturdy and I like how the phone is really protected. The fingerprint scanner won't work but that really doesn't bother me. However, there are air bubbles on the front screen that won't go away. It looks like there is an oil slick right in the middle of the phone. I will be returning the case for something else. The air bubbles are too distracting.

Does Not Work with S10 Plus
One of the FAQ's says that this case will fit the S10 Plus but it does not. The S10 Plus is significantly larger and does not fit.

Great quality, will always choose LifeProof
I've been using life proof cases for my past 4 devices over the course of 8 years. They all have their quirks but the way they protect my phone has always been the same. In previous versions the charging port flap has caused issues but this one seems to work very well. Buttons are working well too. I was not able to get my finger print scanner to work while using this case, they give you a small piece of material to help with this but it did not work for me and I found it intrusive to the display. I simply use a pattern lock and face recognition instead which is unfortunate but a price I am willing to pay for 360 degree protection. I have never broken a phone while using a life proof case and have dropped all of them many times, each being a glass phone on both sides and working in construction, warehouse and transport jobs.

Was awesome for a min.
I took too long to see about a replacement for something made for a phone that's already waterproof it had a pretty simple job protect the phone with out impeading the phones functions. Within a month the camera plastic lens on case was scratched and eventually became so bad my pictures looked terrible so I'm really un impressed more over by the warranty for something with lifeproof in its name having only a 1 yr warranty and a customer care department be like well if.it lasts a yr its lifeproof have fun with ur crap pictures laxidazical aditude. Kinda felt ripped off for a case that's 100 ish when new and has lifeproof in its name I expected way way more from the warranty and the case at 100 for the case it shouldn't be a throw away. If I wanted this crap I would have baught a 20 dollar case. Will no longer recommend them to anyone if you're gonna charge a premium and ha e a name like that back up you're talk otherwise it's just pretty garbage.

Do Not Buy, you'll be completely disappointed
For $90 Canadian I would expect a case that was pretty good. I've read reviews about the front facing camera protector being off and ignored them. Not having the right type of protector over the camera severely affects the quality of the front facing camera. Secondly the screen protector that covers the actual display is nothing more than a hassle. The loose fitting design completely degrades the amazingly sensitive Samsung screen. I have not personally used the biometrics on this phone, so I would not know how it works but considering how awful the main screen protector is for overall responsiveness, I wouldn't doubt the other reviews about it failing are true. Overall, I would not buy this product again, and would reccomend something different especially for the $90 CND you'll spend on this junk.

Great case as usual.
Fingerprint scanner work but is very finicky and you can see the round patch in your screen. Dont count on it.But overall just an amazing case as always. Been using lifeproof for years and they are what they are. You choose to live with the downside or not but I can drop my phone on concrete or in loose sharp gravel and not even look at it to see is it's ok because I know my phone is fine. My last phone was 3 years old and went through 2 lifeproof cases with not a single scratch on the phone and it's been trough hell and back believe me.Same with this one, I'm confident it will protect my phone against....life, period.

Disappointed
The case seems like it will be durable although the cover for the charger seems pretty light weight compared to other lifeproof cases I've had. I wonder if it will last. The odd thing about the screensaver is that the location for the front facing camera is not in the correct spot. it is a 1/2 inch to the left and not the same shape, so it must not be for my exact phone. disappointed that the fingerprint reader does NOT work with this screensaver. the touch screen does not work close to the edges of the phone.
