JFG hand guards/ bark busters.
I installed these hand guards/ bark busters on my sons apollo x18 RFZ. easy to install no instructions but fairly simple. I installed the wedge caps first then the inner bar clamps loosely next the adapter that attaches them together. then adjust and tighten everything. The kit comes with different size plastic shims to accommodate different handlebar configurations. Look great, sturdy. Good price point. Will protect my son's hands priceless!

Direct fit KLR 650 08-18
These are a direct fit on the Kawasaki KLR 650 08-18 model. You will need to purchase some extra hardware, and do a little persuasion on the aluminum guards to make them work. I did it by hand, I didn’t have to reshape them with a hammer. They will not line up perfectly even with the levers on both sides, because the cables on the left side interfere. But for $30, opposed to $130, they are a good value and worth the hassle of install. The plastic on one side came pre-scratched from the factory, so it already matches my bike. No drop test yet, but they feel sturdy.

Seem high quality
These seem pretty sturdy and like they’ll do the job. Install on a Honda CRF125 took about an hour. There were no instructions, but I watched a five minute YouTube video about generic handguard installation and was able to figure it out easily. As others said, install all the hardware semi loose before tightening anything so you can make adjustments. Even if they break in a fall, which I doubt, they’re cheaper than OEM Honda levers and brackets.

Cheap garbage
There's inexpensive and there's cheap...... I've bought a lot of inexpensive stuff off amazon and eBay with good, tempered, results, unfortunately these are cheap crap. As soon as I opened the plastic and tape bag they were shipped in I knew I was in trouble lol but I figured what the hell.... There were no instructions so I was trying to piece them together on my bench before trying on the bike. Unfortunately I couldn't even do that because two of the first three bolts I tried threading in BY HAND wouldn't go in beyond a ¼ of the way easily before fighting me, then when I tried to remove them they cross threaded and had to be forced out using a wrench. My main goal was wind protection because I'm not a hardcore off-roader. I'm very disappointed in this purchase, they will most likely go straight in the trash and I will find something else

smaller than what is seen in the photos, it does not have installation manuals
Maybe for the price it is a good product, but it does not have good quality materials, nor instructions, on the KLR650 they fit small and very tight.

Genuinely a good fit for DRZ400S
There's a lot to like here - they clear levers with a well designed shape, the clamps are much better than you'd expect (although they do involve plastic shims, sure would be nice if they were simply 7/8" clamps).Aluminum bars are solid, the way the plastic mounts is a little janky but doesn't put holes through the bars.Smaller of the two ferrules works fine for 7/8" bars, so they may have improved that since earlier reviewers. It would be nice if they had a spacer on the throttle side of the bar, but I expect my local hardware store will have something. For $30 these are hard to beat.

Great Fit!
I installed these on my TW 200 with 1 1/8" pro-taper bars. Price is right, looks good, easy install.

OK if you don't mind making adaptations
Evidence you get what you pay for. These are almost ok...Next time I'll spend more and hopefully get a better thought-out product. Most of my complaints are not because it's a 'universal' product - Fitment isn't the problem here, it's the hardware. I was going to return another product that didn't fit my bike, but I'm now going to keep it and use the expanding bolts from it to replace the ones I complain about below.1. No instructions and the interior mounts are not intuitive. Looking at reviews I see folks have installed them a couple of different ways.2. Arrived with mismatched hardware - nylock nuts that don't fit the bolts they're supposed to secure.3. Expanding bolts for the ends of the handlebars are far too short and very easily stripped.4. The connection secured by the nuts mentioned in #1 rattles even when tightened using matching fasteners.5. The handguards themselves seem nice and sturdy and are attractive.6. The design of the connection to the inner handlebar is interesting - seems well thought out, or it would be if I could tighten it properly.
